Good morning friends! Church on the water is today!! Worship will take place at Shelter 2. There will be bathrooms, food, bounce house, foam cannons, and most importantly worship. Don’t forget lawn chairs, and swimsuits and towels for the foam cannon. We can’t wait to see you there!!

Why do people come to a church for the 1st time? Because they are invited by someone they know and trust. Starting Sept 6th we’re launching our fall message series entitled: Invite. During the series we’ll explore how simple it is to help a friend or family member discover their best life. If you have not already done so, please invite someone to join you at Church on the Water and then to join you the next week and see what SFC looks like when we’re not enjoying the great outdoors. It all begins with the INVITE.

We are at our penultimate sermon in our series over the greatest sermon ever preached. Some of the most famous words in all the Bible are found within Matthew 7:1-12. “Do not judge” “Do not throw your pearls before swine” “Take the log out of your eye” “Ask, See, Knock.” And then finally the big one: The Golden Rule. “Whoever has the gold makes the rules.” Wait, that’s not right. That’s from Aladdin. “Do to others what you would have them do to you.” How do these all fit and work together? Read Matthew 7 ahead of time and let’s figure it out together on Sunday.

Connecting with the McCains
15 months ago SFC ordained Caleb & Sarah McCain to be Christian ministers of the Gospel of Jesus. In June 2025 they moved to northern Ireland to share the good news of Jesus. God has been blessing their ministry and lives in extraordinary ways. August and Maylene are growing and enjoying their new home as you can see in the picture of above.
