📚✨ Back to School Blessings from RUMC! ✨📚

As a new school year begins, we’re praying for all students, teachers, administrators, and school staff for patience, courage, wisdom, joy, and a year filled with growth and connection.

This weekend, we celebrated the start of a new school year with our Packed for Success Event, Backpack Blessings, and presented our 3rd graders with their Bibles. What a wonderful way to send our children into the year knowing they are loved, supported, and surrounded by prayer. 💙

Our prayer:
God, bless every school building, every classroom, every teacher and staff member, and every student. Give them strength for challenges, joy in learning, kindness toward one another, and peace throughout the year. May they know they are never alone. Amen.

🎒 Blessings for a wonderful school year from Rochester United Methodist Church!

🌈 As LGBTQIA+ Month comes to a close, we are grateful for the opportunity to share messages of welcome, inclusion, and Christ’s love throughout our church and community spaces this June.

Thank you to everyone who contributed artwork, encouragement, prayers, and support to our “You Are Loved Here” campaign.

We continue striving to be a church that:
Loves Boldly.
Serves Joyfully.
Leads Courageously.

And above all, a church that seeks to reflect the love of Christ to all people.

You are always welcome here.

🌈LGBTQIA+ Month - You are created with purpose.

Each person is uniquely created by God, with gifts to share, relationships to build, and a purpose that matters.

As we recognize LGBTQIA+ Month, we celebrate the diversity of God's creation and the many ways people contribute their talents, experiences, and perspectives to our communities. We believe that every person has inherent worth and the capacity to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Wherever you are on your journey, know this: your life has value, your gifts matter, and you were created with purpose.

🌈 LGBTQIA+ Month - You are not alone.

Everyone deserves a place where they feel seen, valued, and connected.

As we recognize LGBTQIA+ Month, we are reminded that Christ calls us into community, not isolation. Whether you have been part of a church for years, are exploring faith for the first time, or have felt disconnected from church communities in the past, know that you are not alone.

Through acts of hospitality, kindness, and welcome, we hope to reflect God's love and remind people that there is a place for them in our community.

You are loved. You belong. You are not alone.
