The Church of Christ at Riverdale, Georgia The Church of Christ at Riverdale Georgia actually started off as the Palmetto Church of Christ, in Palmetto Georgia.

The Church of Christ at Riverdale Georgia members are christians who have come together to fellowship for the purpose of worshipping God in, "Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24)". We were only a handful of members at the time, meeting at the local elementary school. With Brother Laslie Binion as our spiritual leader, we made the move to Riverdale, Georgia. On 11/17/2000, The Church of Christ at Riverdale was established. At first, we only had a portion of the building at 635 Denham Street in Riverdale Georgia to do the Lord's work. It was a labor of love for us to be able to acquire the entire building. Over the years, our members have reached out to the community as well as gone door-to-door to spread the Word of God. The latter, to let people in the community know that there is a Church, which preaches God's plan of salvation, in their community. The Church, via its members, has grown by leaps and bounds from its humble beginnings at the school house to what we have today. We believe all things that God has said to us through his Word, the Bible, are important and deserve the utmost attention (Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:16-17). We endeavor to do Bible things in Bible ways, in addition to speaking where the Bible speaks and being silent where the Bible is Silent (1 Peter 4:11, Colossians 3:17).
