Tribute to Bishop Dr. K. D. Collins
As we commemorate FATHER’S DAY, the Harvest Army Church International and the World Revival Movement, thank God for our founding vessel and visionary leader, Bishop Dr. K. D. COLLINS, husband to one wife, Co-founding Apostle Dr. E. E. Collins, father and grandfather, and spiritual father to many, locally and globally.
God found a man that was on his knees seeking for an answer to reach the world and win the lost; a man that was concerned over the gap in the body of Christ. In 1989, God spoke the following words to him - “Harvest Army”. Since then, Bishop Collins has been faithful in taking this vision to the world - starting from Florida, USA, to Jamaica W.I., to the headquarters in New York and then to every continent on the globe. Harvest Army Church International, is now a church body of over 300 branches and affiliates in India, United Kingdom, Holland, Liberia, Ghana, South Africa, Nigeria, Tanzania, Malawi, Argentina, Brazil, Honduras, Zimbabwe, Cameroon, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, Mozambique, Trinidad, Jamaica, Haiti, St. Maarten, Benin, Zambia, Kenya, Cote D’ Voire, Fiji, Uganda, Togo, Philippines, Sierra Leone, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Philippines, U.S.A. under the visionary leadership of Bishop Dr. K.D. Collins.
The Lord gave him a vision for the globe and to win every lost soul. This global focus led him to host a worldwide television program called “God’s Revival”, viewed by over 100 million households internationally on several media outlets including ‘The Word Network’, Brooklyn Cable, Bronx Cable, Yonkers Cable, MTM – Jamaica & World Television Network-UK. He has done audio and visual programming on several other national and worldwide media networks including BBC in United Kingdom and other networks in Venezuela.
His ministry has taken him across the USA and to countries such as Britain, Canada, Holland, Israel, Venezuela, Philippines, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, Brazil, Argentina, Honduras, Chile, Haiti, Panama, Suriname, Jamaica, Trinidad, Guyana, Bahamas, St. Maarten, Grand Cayman and the continent of Africa.
Bishop Collins has been committed to raising up the body of Christ to their fullest potential. As result, he has authored several bestselling books, published by ‘Xulon Press’ including, ‘Every Believer A Preacher’, ‘Witnessing Revolution’, ‘Wounded Witnesses’, ‘ Ninth Hour’, ‘Worldwide Vision Day’ and ‘Pearls of Prophecy’. This also involves several desktop publications such as Ministry Manuals 1, 2 & 3, Marriage Mate, Christian Adornment, Gaps of Life, and Revelation.
Bishop Collins has produced and published over three thousand life changing sermons. Thousands have accepted Jesus Christ through his life and ministry. In addition, he has recorded several albums as a gospel singer and musician. He has received several non-Harvest Army awards including Synergy Award by “Javan Music”, Bishop French International Award and several musical awards.
We thank the Lord for this mighty man of God that desires no accolades but has invested his entire life to point every unbeliever to Christ and manifest power of God in the midst of all believers. We can all testify of the authenticity of his mighty ministry. Ministers from within and without the Harvest Army church body look to him as a mentor and father. It is difficult to be around him and not be moved to do greater in the kingdom of God. He has brought a new paradigm of ministry to the body of Christ by living and breathing prophecy, by constantly reminding us that it is “Every Believer A Preacher”!
Bishop Collins, all that we have said is still insufficient to fully describe in words who you are and what you have done for all of us by being obedient to the vision of God. We are so privileged to have you as our leader, teacher, and father. Thank you for setting the example as a holy servant of God and for preaching undiluted truth of God’s word to all of mankind. We will certainly cherish these precious and anointed sermons we have heard over the years. Today, we are all better men and women of God because of your invaluable ministry to us.
