We had another wonderful Neighborhood Ice Cream Event (NICE) hosted with our friends at Tapestry Richfield, MN Thursday night (8/27) outside on the patio. We served well over 200 sweet treats to our community and met a lot of amazing neighbors! We also helped register folks to vote and did some crafty painting with the kiddos. Join us TONIGHT at 6pm for our final Picnic Church with our friends at Tapestry Richfield, MN. The weather looks to be excellent as we gather outside for a potluck meal toghether followed by a brief bilingual worship service with holy Communion. Grab some friends and come join us starting at 6pm (8/26) on the south patio at Oak Grove Lutheran (corner of 70th and Lyndale in Richfield)!

📰🎉News Flash: The roof is done!
We had the final walk through of the roof today, and everything looks wonderful! The roofers did a great job installing the 52 foot custom made metal sheets over the sanctuary and narthex, and they laid down white rubber coating most everywhere else. The roof slope was adjusted properly over the flat parts, along with the drains and gutters being fixed, so they now line up. We also had to replace some wood and insulation that had been damaged by water. Now, onto the next phase: raising funds to pay for it through our upcoming "Builing For Our Mission" Capital Campaign!
