🔻This Sunday, October 25th, the church will commemorate the historical (the German monk Martin Luther nailing 🔨 the 95 thesis' to the church door in Wittenburg in 1517) and the on-going (the Holy Spirit is always working in and through us) reformation of the Holy Spirit in Christ's church ⛪. We know the actual day is October 31st, but the 25th is a bit more convenient, since it is a Sunday. At Oak Grove we are inviting everyone to wear red 🔻 (or lederhosen, your choice) to celebrate the day as we gather for coffee and fellowship at 9:00am, followed by worship at 10:00am and a special Sunday school for the kids at 11:00am. We hope you can join us for a day of celebration and thanksgiving!
PS. Of course you can also join us via our livestream, from wherever you may be!

✝ With churches across the world 🌍, we will be commemorating those saints who have died and those who have been baptized into Christ in the past year during 🕯All Saints Day on Sunday, November 1st at 10:am. If you have a friend or family member who has died or who has been baptized in the past year that you would like included on our list that will be read in worship, please contact the church office by Monday, October 26th.
📨 [email protected]
These saints will be named during the service, accompanied by the ringing of a bell 🔔. We will also have an opportunity for candle lighting as we all celebrate God's gracious gift to us in Christ through the waters of baptism.

🔥 We all got fired up as we launched our "Building For Our Future" Captial Campaign on September 27th with Chloe the Fire Performer and a good ol' 🌶 Chili Cook-Off! The goal of the campaign is to raise over $500,000 to pay for our new roof and a much needed AC system. This is about more than money, it is about our response to the overwhelming love God has poured into our lives and our congregation. And this was a fun way for us to get "fired up" about it! Also, congratulations to Dominic Liljenquist and Michele Myroniuk for taking home the awards for best chili!

On Sunday we prayed for and thanked Kelli for her 20+ years of service and ministry with us as our Director of Christian Education. We prayed for her during worship and then headed to the Fellowship Hall for a fun reception with snacks, hugs, laughs, and memories. We are grateful for Kelli sharing her gifts with us for so many years!
In the coming months Sunday School, the Christmas Program, and Confirmation will go on with volunteers as we discern next steps for this postion at Oak Grove!
