Our final worship as "Woodlake Lutheran Church" will be September 13th at 10am!

Over the past few years, Woodlake has been in conversation with our mission partner, House of Prayer, about dissolving our two churches and becoming something new. We are now on the precipice of this new life together. In order to make way for this new ministry, the Shared Ministry Team and Woodlake Leadership board have decided that our final worship as "Woodlake Lutheran Church" will be September 13th at 10am.

This will be a worship meant to both grieve what Woodlake was and to celebrate what Woodlake is becoming.

We will begin the transition toward Crosstown Lutheran Church with Rally Sunday on September 20.

On September 27, we begin our fall schedule. We look forward to this time to worship together as members of HOP and WL as we prepare for Crosstown Lutheran Church Charter Sunday, Sunday, October 25.

In Revelation 21:5 God declares, "See, I am making all things new." We are in the process of being made new as well. Come join us as we close one chapter and begin the next.

What a wonderful morning at Veterans Park this past Sunday. We gathered with our friends and neighbors from House of Prayer Lutheran Church, Oak Grove Lutheran Church, and Richfield Lutheran Church for the annual Richfield Area Lutheran Collaboration Worship.

10am Today! Join us at the picnic pavilion at Veteran’s Park.

Help us celebrate the annual Richfield Area Lutheran Collaboration Worship. Worship will include a traditional liturgy, music led by Josh Countryman, and Pastor Eric will be preaching.

Loose offerings from the morning will go the Minneapolis Area Synod Welcome Fund which provides support to congregations serving our immigrant neighbors. We’ll share a time of fellowship with coffee and treats after worship.

Invite a friend, bring a chair (there will be picnic tables available as well) and join us for a lively morning with the Lutherans of Richfield.

You are invited to Woodlake at 10am this Sunday, July 5th. Outside, weather permitting.

This worship will have everything: (except lawn chairs... bring your own, please!)

Luther Park Counselors - Join us singing camp songs during the prelude before the service!

We See - a collaborative activity for all ages made by RALY and HOP+WL volunteers (See the preview in July's Better Together Newsletter!), featured during the children's sermon.

Steel Drum Band - bringing the summer vibes to the next level during worship. Treats - of course! After the service.

Drumroll.... DUNK TANK! RALY and VBS are fundraising for Dakota led non-profit Owámniyomni Okhódayapi as they transform 5 acres of land at St. Anthony Falls into a place of healing, restoration, education, and connection, grounded in Dakota values – such as mni wičóni, or water is life (that's the theme for VBS!).

11-11:30am three members of HOP and WL will be on deck to be dunked: Pastor Neal, Rachel, and a mystery guest!

$10 “VIP” package (priority throws or guaranteed dunk)

People who want to be dunked can pay to be dunked for $10 PENDING they are over 5 feet tall, agree to all safety directions, and (if under 18) have parent/guardian permission on site.

VBS Decorating: Want a break from the action and the sun? Head inside the fellowship hall and youth wing from 11-12 to help the Children, Youth, and Family team decorate for Water is Life, Vacation Bible School!
