Mas’ud al-Hamadhani was a person whose life is mentioned in Siyar A’lam al-Nubala. One of his remarkable qualities was that whenever someone wronged him, he would forgive them. If a person came to apologize, he would say:
الماضي لا يذكر
“The past is not to be mentioned.”

In other words: what is done is done—there is no benefit in bringing it up again.

After Mas’ud al-Hamadhani passed away, someone saw him in a dream and asked, “How did Allah deal with you?”

Al-Hamadhani replied:

“Allah the Most High also said:
الماضي لا يذكر
There is no benefit in speaking about the past. Go—you have been forgiven.”

🌙 Fasting The White Days (Ayyam al-Bid) – Dhu al-Qi'dah 1447 AH

The "White Days" are upon us! These are the three middle days of the lunar month when the moon is at its fullest and brightest. Fasting during this time is a beautiful Sunnah that carries immense rewards.

13th Dhu al-Qi'dah: Saturday, May 2, 2026
14th Dhu al-Qi'dah: Sunday, May 3, 2026

✨ Why Fast These Days?
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) encouraged us to take up this practice, highlighting its spiritual significance:
"Fasting three days of every month is like fasting for a lifetime."

Even in the darkest depths, hope shines brighter than ever! 🐋

The story of Prophet Yunus (AS) teaches us a profound lesson. He was trapped in the belly of a whale, seemingly without any escape. But he never lost hope. He turned to Allah (SWT) with the powerful dua: "لا إله إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين" (La ilaha illa Anta, Subhanaka, inni kuntu minaz-zalimin).

This incredible dua reminds us that no matter how overwhelming our problems may seem, Allah (SWT) is always there, listening and ready to guide us. He is the ultimate source of hope and mercy.

Remember, even in your own "belly of the whale" moments, when all hope seems lost, trust in Allah (SWT). Believe in the power of prayer and never give up. There is always a way out, and a brighter tomorrow is waiting.

May Allah (SWT) grant us all the strength, patience, and unwavering hope of Prophet Yunus (AS). Ameen.
