📚 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐚𝐡
Did you know that not all Salaah carries the same ruling? In our class today, Ustadh Ariful Islam broke down the five classifications every Muslim should know:
1️⃣ 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐡𝐮𝐥-'𝐀𝐢𝐧 – Obligatory upon every individual (e.g., the five daily prayers)
2️⃣ 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐡𝐮𝐥-𝐊𝐢𝐟𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐡 – Obligatory upon the community, fulfilled if some perform it (e.g., Janazah prayer)
3️⃣ 𝐖𝐚𝐣𝐢𝐛 – Necessary, ranking just below Fardh (e.g., Witr, Eid prayers)
4️⃣ 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥 𝐌𝐮'𝐚𝐤𝐤𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐡 – Regularly practiced by the Prophet ﷺ, rarely left
5️⃣ 𝐆𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐌𝐮'𝐚𝐤𝐤𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐡 (𝐍𝐚𝐟𝐥) – Voluntary prayers for extra spiritual reward
