Outlook Christian Church

Outlook Christian Church A different kind of church. in fact, they only seem to make matters worse. We have tried religion, and that too has left us empty.

Our Mission:
To pursue embrace and extend the grace and mercy of God

Our Vision:
A community of people who are growing in faith, hope and love

Our Strategy:
To create safe environments where people can experience the Presence of God’s Love, explore the Truth of His Word and be encouraged in Him. Who We Are:
We are a community of folks, from many backgrounds and life experiences, who have discovered that not only is life tough, but that the typical solutions to our individual and world problems do not last, satisfy or ultimately fix anything…. So we are seeking answers from the Bible… which speaks of a relationship with Jesus as being God’s solution. Together, we gather to better understand and encourage one another to walk out this new way. As we get to know Jesus, we are finding that He is indeed the way, the truth and the life we have been seeking. We’re not talking about a bunch of hoops you need to jump through to get God’s attention and favor, we’re talking simply of responding to his invitation to trust Him and follow. Who We Want To Be:
We are striving to be the kind of community Jesus came to establish. A place where we seek Him and live out the principles He gave us for life, as His Spirit leads & guides us. Love for one another, responsible care for the planet, values that are eternal and relational in nature, and a commitment to make a positive lasting impact in the lives of people, are what we hope to reflect.

What if church was more than somewhere you go?

Our new series, OUTLOOK, is all about getting the vision clear- what it means to be the Church, the mission Jesus has given us, and the part each of us gets to play.

If you’ve been looking for a church with purpose, direction, and a place for you in the story… this is a great time to walk through our doors.

The vision is clear, let’s move forward together.

Our Sunday gathering starts at 10am. Grab a cup of coffee, meet a friendly face, and settle in. We can’t wait to worship with you!

The Hawk Fire is hitting a little too close to home. But…

Right now, our attention is on our neighbors, the families who have had to leave their homes, those watching and waiting, the firefighters and first responders on the front lines, and everyone carrying the weight of not knowing what comes next.

Outlook is standing with you, praying with you, and believing with you for protection over our community and for the winds to calm and this fire to be contained.

Outlook is still located within the “GO NOW” evacuation area, which means we will remain closed until that order is lifted. Please keep checking back here for updates, and use Watch Duty’s Perimeter Map for the latest evacuation information.

For now, be a good neighbor. Check on your people. Make room where you can. Pray for the crews fighting this fire and for every person whose home is in its path.

This is our city, these are our neighbors, and this is what it means to be the Church, loving in action. Stay safe everyone.

Due to the fact that the Church building is in the Red / Evacuation Zone - we are doomed to cancel our SUNDAY morning gathering 8/23.
Hopefully and prayerfully the firemen, who will be working all night, will be able to get the Hawk Fire contained and save homes and property in the no. Valleys. Stay tuned for a morning update. Stay safe and sleep sound.

Dan

ps. Thank you for responding and being willing and available to help house many displaced residents during this ordeal.
The work is not over and there will be many opportunities to show love and support tomorrow and the following days.
Just keep your eyes and ears open. Call a friend or neighbor. This is an opportunity to be the Church in action.
