Talking about Jesus is easy, at least when you are surrounded by people that also want to talk about him. It get increasingly more difficult when you are in a situation where bringing up Jesus, or just living your faith, might cost you something.
In our text for Sunday, Peter didn't struggle to proclaim Christ... or did he?

When our words and actions don't match the faith in our hearts, we ask for forgiveness and remember; salvation never depended on the eloquence of your confession, but it's based on Christ, who was, is, and always will be "The Messiah, the Son of the living God."

Before Paul was an apostle, he was actively fighting against God. But Jesus stepped in and said, “I have a different plan for you. You are mine.”

He did the exact same thing for you. Whether it was as a baby at the baptismal font or later in life, Christ reached out and claimed you as His child.

You don't have to earn His love—He already took hold of you!

Join us TONIGHT, October 6th at 6:30 PM, for a Fire Awareness Community Night at LOV. We’re bringing in local experts on fire safety, evacuation, and recovery to cover everything you need to know:

Creating a solid home evacuation plan

Preparing your home & protecting livestock/pets

Steps to recuperate and rebuild after a fire

Supporting our local emergency responders

Life doesn’t always go the way we planned. Sometimes we experience setbacks, disappointments, and regrets that make it difficult to move forward. So how do we keep going when the road ahead seems difficult?

In Philippians 3, the apostle Paul gives us a powerful reminder: “Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on.”

Listen for this message, “Press On,” as we discover the encouragement God gives us to keep moving forward in faith.

25 years of faithful leadership, selfless service, and loving our church family!

Today, we gathered to celebrate Pastor Heckendorf’s 25th anniversary in ministry. We are so grateful for his dedication to teaching God’s Word, shepherding our congregation, and pointing us to Jesus every single day.

We are excited to see how God continues to bless him and his family!

We get to live brightly in our homes , live brightly in our day-to-day activities, and live brightly in our communities knowing that the promises of God follow us every single day.

In a sea of hustle and bustle, a simple smile can be a powerful light.

God gives us the incredible opportunity to reflect His faith and warmth to the people around us every day. What a privilege it is to share His love and brighten someone’s day just by showing up with kindness.
