Today as we celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day we are reminded of the powerful words of one of our great founders, Arlan Melendez: “There is no greater evidence of progress than the building of friendships with all people.”
Arlan’s words convey the heart of our Native people across America. Unity, strength, friendship, and progress! We celebrate today and remember those that have built a better future for us all.

Colony Christian Fellowship stands in solidarity with our Tribal communities, families and survivors as today we honor those who endured the horrific acts and traumas of the federal Indian boarding school system.
Every child matters. Many did not come home. We stand against and reject the evils of the government and those who used so called “religion” and “assimilation” to justify their actions. We stand for the true love and reconciliation of the Gospel. We pray for the unity and strength and prosperity of our Native People!
