Food Basket Update from HopeLink
During the school year, many of the families served by HopeLink rely on free or reduced priced school meals to feed their children. When summer arrives, that support often disappears. Parents must stretch already tight budgets to cover additional meals and snacks, and the impact is immediate.
1 in 5 children in the U.S., lives in a household without consistent access to food. HopeLink's Food Assistance program is experiencing a 12% increase in monthly visits, serving an average of more that 9,750 individuals each month from Jan. 2025 to Jan. 2026. The need is great.
Please try to pick up extra food and nutritious snacks to put in the Cart at Faith. Thank you.

Sharing our Pastor’s message.

Dear Faith Friends,
Our June summer sermon series, Set Your Heart on Things Above, continues for the third week this Sunday.

Last week we read Paul encouraging Christ’s followers to get rid of the old self and its practices, and clothe yourselves with the new self.

This week, he says more about that new self garment. Compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience are first named. But, Paul also mentions forgiveness, “as the Lord has forgiven you” (Colossians 3:13).

What is it that binds all this together in perfect harmony? Paul gives us that as well. I invite you to read our passage for Sunday (Colossians 3:12-14). Actually, read verses 1 through 17 in chapter 3. This is the heart of our sermon series.

I look forward to continuing to dwell in this message of renewal and promise as we set our heart on things above.

Many thanks for the warm reception of all our new members and Director of Music Ministries. Over the past three weeks we have indeed been in a season of welcome and it has been a joy! Thanks be to the Spirit for gathering us together in mission and ministry here at Faith.
