Living water Sunday 💦
Sunday June 7th is Living Water Sunday. Each first Sunday of the month we bring out the barrel and collect change and small paper money during the offering to help provide clean potable water to those in areas that do not have ready access to it. Your donation is combined with the donations of other congregation members and sent to ELCA clean water programs to fulfil this life saving need. 💙 We thank you for your continued generosity to this ministry.

💦 Living water
Thanks to the members of Faith Lutheran Church for your continued generosity to this life-giving ministry! In May we have collected $133.50 to help provide fresh water to those who do not have ready access to it

🥫 HopeLink
On May 5th, a delivery of 61 pounds of unsorted food products was made to Hopelink. Offering in April for Naomi Rachel Circle was $50.
When you shop, please pick up an extra item or two to fill the cart here at Faith. Thank you. Mission and Outreach.

🪴 Plant Sale
Thanks to everyone who shopped at the plant sale on May 17! Together we raised over $500 for Hopelink. We are grateful to everyone who helped us with setup, brought plants to sell, and put the tables away afterward. Members of the Redmond Garden Club graciously donated plants to supplement the ones Vince grew. A special thank you to Bill for bringing his truck to help us move the plants. We hope everyone enjoys their gardens this summer!

🎶 A hearty thanks to all our musicians at Faith who’ve continued to share their talents and gifts of music throughout the 4-month interim period when we’ve searched for a new Director of Music Ministry. Their music has expressed what our spoken words alone cannot do. Our worship life, our entire life together, has been enriched and blessed by each one of them. Thanks be to God.

🙏 Many thanks to C. for all her efforts in coordinating the prayer team. We are grateful she is willing to share her time and talents in this way to make sure everyone who would like to be lifted up in prayer can be. Thanks also to everyone on the prayer team who willingly includes these petitions in their daily prayers.

💜 Many thanks to the Property Task Force Team for all they have done in sharing their time and talents to bring forward God's plan for the future of Faith. We appreciate your dedication and commitment to following through with this task to the end.

🩷 Many thanks to J. for sharing her time and talents coordinating the Nave team to change the paraments and banners in the sanctuary to match the liturgy each season.

Sharing our Pastor’s message.
Dear Faith Friends,
What shapes your heart? What captures your attention, your hope, your way of living?

Beginning Sunday join us for a four-week summer sermon series called, Set Your Heart on Things Above. The sermon series will carry us through Colossians 3:1-17, where Paul invites us to discover a life centered in Christ—a life being renewed by compassion, gratitude, forgiveness, and love.

This Sunday we begin with Colossians 3:1-4 and Matthew 9:9-13, 18-26. In the gospel reading Jesus meets people in the middle of ordinary life, deep need, and unexpected change.

Come worship, listen, wonder, and explore what it means to seek the things that are above—not apart from everyday life, but right in the midst of it.

This Sunday also marks the beginning of Doug’s ministry with us here at Faith. We are thrilled to welcome and install him as our new Director of Music Ministries. We have two events to celebrate this new ministry partnership. Please join us for one or both!
8:45-9:15am, pre-service coffee/tea meet & greet in the Narthex
Luncheon reception downstairs in the Fellowship Hall after worship (Panera sandwiches, chips, fruit, and cookies/bars)

What a joy it was to kick off this “season of welcome,” last Sunday as we formally received three new members, Janet, Jerry & Joan. June 14, we welcome two additional new members, Brian & Ann. Welcoming these new members, along with our new Director of Music Ministries, truly makes this a “season of welcome!” Thanks be to God!

🗓️ Sunday, June 14, 2026-Repeat Budget Information Forum

🗓️ Sunday, June 28, 2026**-Annual Congregation Meeting where votes will be taken on the 2026/2027 Budget, the Faith Constitution, Bylaws, and Continuing Resolutions and a slate of candidates for various positions,

‼️ Please be especially mindful that a quorum will be needed at the June 28th Annual Congregational Meeting, so your attendance is fervently requested and appreciated.
