Temple B'nai Torah is proud to participate in the international movement, Reverse Tashlich, by hosting a local waterfront cleanup on Sunday, September 6, from 10:30am - 12:00pm.

For thousands of years, in a ritual called Tashlich, Jews around the world have symbolically cast their sins into a body of water on the holiday Rosh Hashanah. For 60 years, humans have been throwing their sins, trash, and debris into bodies of water as well. The Jewish community has shown we can cast sins in; now let's take them out. Join thousands of Jews and allies around the world for this collaborative cleanup.

Throwback to our recent TBTeva Shabbat Kayak Paddle! 🛶☀️

This Shabbat gathering looked a little different from our usual mornings in the sanctuary, with nature as our backdrop.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for a morning on the water. We loved sharing Shabbat with you outdoors!

This wonderful program is an annual Seattle Pride Month Shabbat Service that creates a space to bring visibility to the experiences and perspectives of those at the intersection of Jewish and LGBTQIA+ identities.

Temple B'nai Torah is a co-sponsor of Pride Shabbat. No services will be held at TBT on this date, as we will join on-site at Temple Beth Am.

Behind the scenes from TBT's Reset & Refresh 2026 Cohort, which wrapped up last month!

Reset & Refresh is a unique, seven-session experience in partnership with the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle, designed for young, mixed-heritage couples in the Seattle area.

Rabbi Molly and Rabbi Dusty had a blast getting to know these awesome couples.

Our gratitude to the Jewish Federation for their generous support, and to our congregant families that hosted the dinners!

Passover Part 2:

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating, and to all who helped make our Passover experiences so lovely (and delicious!).

A special note of gratitude to our incredible volunteers, led by Donna & Perry, for overseeing the food planning and ex*****on across all three seders.

And thank you to everyone who contributed food and toiletry donations for JFS and Hopelink!

Passover Part 1:

This year, we didn’t just host one or two seders…we hosted THREE—each one designed to meet the growing needs of our community while keeping the experience meaningful, welcoming, and connected.

Each gathering created space for connection in its own unique way: from our joyful, kid-centered Family Seder, to the familiar traditions and melodies of our Traditional Seder, to our Contemporary Seder, where we explored themes of disruption through thoughtful, interactive conversation.

Grateful to share these moments and this community with all of you.
