The novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help begins tomorrow! We will pray this before Masses at the Cathedral, and we welcome you to join us - either at Mass or in your homes. The purpose of the novena is not just to bring our needs and aspirations to God through the prayers of Our Mother Mary, but to let her bring us to Jesus in order to follow him—the true path to God.

June is known as the month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus most simply because the solemnity of the Sacred Heart is celebrated during this month: Friday, June 12.

This year, as part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. bishops will consecrate the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
