Vision Church exists to glorify God and make disciples! Vision Church is a group of imperfect people passionate about Christ and His mission.

We have 4 Core Values and they are: Gospel-centrality, Biblical Orthodoxy, Relational Community and Mission. Our desire is to see Southeast Raleigh and the world redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. We make it our life’s commitment to missionally engage believers and doubters of Christ with the gospel and allow God’s power to transform minds, regenerate unbelievers, make disciples and give God glory. In doing so we take part in fulfilling God’s Great Commission which is to make disciple makers. We invite you to join us as we form believers all over the world in advancing God’s Kingdom one life at a time!

Why did a stranger’s apartment tour just make you hate your room? 😭

You opened the app because you were bored, and now someone has you feeling behind in life. You don’t even know them, but their posts are deciding how you feel about yourself.

There’s a point where “that would be nice” turns into resenting what you have. Someone else getting something good doesn’t make what God has given you worth less.

You can trust God and still be exhausted by what you're going through. You can believe He's good and still cry on the drive home because you don't know how you're going to pay that bill, repair that relationship, or handle another week of bad news.

Notice it doesn't say God keeps us from ever experiencing trouble. It says He's present IN it.

So if life feels heavier than you can handle right now, bring the whole thing to Him. He's inviting you to find your strength in Him. 💙

Someone who’s grieving shouldn’t have to convince you they’re okay just to make the conversation less awkward.

Jesus knew He was going to raise Lazarus, and He still wept with the people who loved him. Knowing there was hope didn’t stop Him from sharing their sorrow. You can trust God and still sit beside someone without trying to talk them out of being sad.

And knowing Scripture doesn't excuse any of it.

You can quote the Bible, serve at church, and have strong opinions about theology, but if you can't apologize without making excuses or have a difficult conversation without tearing somebody down, your spiritual maturity isn't matching your biblical knowledge.

If getting ahead means becoming someone you wouldn’t want your kids to imitate, is it really progress? A promotion can be a good thing, but if chasing it means being dishonest or giving your family whatever patience you have left, the title doesn’t tell the whole story.

Before you decide you’re falling behind, consider whether the people you’re comparing yourself to are even headed where He’s leading you.
