Vision-Church RDU Vision Church exists to glorify God and make disciples! Vision Church is a group of imperfect people passionate about Christ and His mission.

We live in a culture that asks very little of us and has trained us to renegotiate everything based on how we feel in the moment. That mindset easily follows us into our faith, where even simple acts of devotion can become last-minute decisions.

Some commitments should be settled before the alarm goes off, before the excuses show up, and before convenience gets a vote. If gathering with the church matters, decide that ahead of time.

Maturity is not constantly asking, “Do I feel like it?” It's learning to live from convictions that were already decided.

One of the clearest signs of spiritual growth is learning that you don't have to say yes to every feeling, desire, or impulse you have. There are moments when following Jesus means denying yourself something you want because you trust Him more than you trust your appetite in that moment.

That kind of discipline takes maturity.

You know you’re growing when you can tell yourself no because your life has already said yes to Jesus.

Social media has convinced a lot of people that being connected is the same thing as being in community. It isn’t. You can scroll for hours, repost sermons, argue theology in the comments, and still be completely unknown by the people around you.

A screen can give you the illusion of connection without requiring the vulnerability, accountability, and commitment that real community demands.

The church does not need more spectators with opinions. We need people willing to know others, be known, and represent Christ with integrity both online and in person.
