Sermon Recap | Oct. 25th | Rev. Amanda Rigby
The wilderness was never a place where God abandoned Moses. Through every challenge, every uncertainty, and every new beginning, God remained present.

God provided manna, brought water from the rock, and made a way where there seemed to be no way. Even in death, Moses was not alone.

The same God who walked with Moses walks with us. Even in the wilderness, even in the hardest seasons, we are never beyond the reach of God's presence.

What a wonderful afternoon celebrating our lay servants at Edenton Street! We had a great turnout at yesterday’s Oyster Roast, and we’re so grateful for the people who give their time, energy, and gifts to make our church community thrive. A special thank-you to the Burlingtons for hosting such a great gathering! We’re blessed by the many ways our congregation shows up, serves, and shares God’s love. Thank you for all you do!

A Meditation on Belonging to a Future We Won’t See

Faithfulness isn’t always about seeing the results of our work. Like Moses, we may plant seeds and take faithful steps without ever witnessing the harvest. But our work still matters, shaping a future that reaches beyond ourselves.

Take a moment with this meditation and consider how you can trust God with the outcomes, remain faithful today, and live for the good of generations to come.

We’re so glad to have organ music back in the Sanctuary! A temporary digital organ will be used while our Létourneau Organ is renovated over the next year. A huge thanks to all who have had a hand in this project!

Our staff had a great retreat to the beach! We enjoyed time relaxing, reflecting, and spending quality time with one another. We are so grateful for this time together!

Moses wasn’t satisfied with blessings alone. He wanted God’s presence. He wanted to know God more deeply.

Our faith holds together two beautiful truths: God is holy beyond our understanding, and God is intimately near. The God we approach with awe is also the God who knows us by name and loves us personally.

What would it look like to seek not just what God can give, but God’s presence itself?
