Perhaps the most rewarding experience in church life is watching a community of faith welcome, grow, equip, and bless one of its own through a journey toward a call to ministry. Andrew Otto was formed in faith here, developed a keen sensitivity to worship, and was trained to lead it well. He took his formative organ lessons in this space, and moved quickly into his role as a capable worship leader in his youth. For the past two years, he has served as our organist and has been a minister in his own right to the members of our music ministry and our congregation as a whole with a gentle spirit and an integrity way beyond his years.
Today we honored and blessed him as he prepares to take his gifts into the world. Andrew will attend UNC Chapel Hill this Fall and begin his position as the organ scholar at University Presbyterian Church.
We all love this young man and will miss him tremendously, but are excited to see him off into this next season of life.

Choir road trip to McGregor Hall in Henderson, NC to see “Hello Dolly!”
Starring our own Ted Szeto and Eva Hopper.
Produced & Directed by our own Mark Hopper, with his wife Sharon as Asst. Director & Costume Coordinator.
This small town local theater produces such excellent shows.
A good time was had by all!
