God's Temple AOH Church of God Our Pastor is Elder Julius Woods Sr. Woods began having church services and was led to build a church as the ministry increased. She named it God’s Temple A.O.H.

In 1970, the late Elder Dollie M. Church of God. Elder Dollie M. Woods served as pastor for over 42yrs. She was a faithful servant of God, who lived and taught holiness and sanctification. She would often quote, “God is Holy, His angels are Holy, Heaven is Holy, His Word is Holy; therefore you must be Holy”. She was a woman of faith and encouragement, who trusted God even in the midst of adversity. She led the church faithfully until her illness. Elder Julius Woods Sr. was placed as interim pastor of God’s Temple A.O.H. Church of God in June 2013 at the Annual Pentecost Meeting in Birmingham, AL. Two months later, after the death of Elder Dollie M. Woods, Elder Julius Woods was appointed Pastor. God has anointed him for such a time as this. The motto for the church is “God’s Temple was designed with God’s people in mind”.

🎉 Happy Birthday, Assistant Overseer Julius Woods! 🎉

Today we celebrate a remarkable man of God whose leadership, faith, humility, and unwavering commitment continues to strengthen the people of God. Your servant’s heart, dedication to God’s people, and passion for building lives have been a tremendous blessing to so many.

We pray that this new year of life is filled with God’s abundant favor, divine wisdom, renewed strength, and overflowing joy. May the Lord continue to enlarge your territory, establish the work of your hands, and grant you many more years of fruitful ministry.

✨ We Are Back! ✨
Our youth have returned from the A.O.H. National Youth Convention 2026 with hearts full, spirits refreshed, and faith strengthened!
This year's theme, "Light Makers & Fear Breakers" (Psalm 27:1), challenged our young people to let their light shine boldly and trust God over every fear.
Each preacher left us with a powerful message to carry home:
✨ "God remembered Noah... and God remembers me."
✨ "Who are you listening to?"
✨ "Be confident."
These messages will continue to encourage us as we walk by faith and live for Christ each day.
From powerful worship and inspiring messages to new friendships and unforgettable memories, God truly moved throughout the convention. We are grateful for safe travels and thankful to every parent, leader, supporter, and prayer warrior who made this experience possible.
Now it's time to put what we've learned into action. We are committed to continuing to be Light Makers and Fear Breakers in our homes, schools, church, and community.
