**Attention Church**
LONG POST AHEAD
First: I want to start by thanking all those who visited with us yesterday, what a blessing it was to see so many new faces. You are always welcome and loved at MOBC
Second: I want to sincerely thank all of those who have given so much of their time and effort recently to making the church the wonderful place that it is. From VBS volunteers, to remodeling efforts, to kitchen volunteers, to sound production, and food preparation, to the blessing box, and party preparation, and bulletins, and grass cuttings, and cleaning, and especially prayer. From the bottom of my heart thank you so very much! Without all your efforts I would be lost. You are ALL such a blessing to Gods church.
Third: Church I need you all to understand what an incredible moment we all experienced at service yesterday. That is by far the largest move of the Spirit that I have experienced in my short time with you all. I’ve been in tears multiple times since yesterday’s service giving thanks to the Lord for moving upon the church in such a way. It is so important that we all are aware of the move of the Spirit that is taking place. Because if we turn a blind eye to it we will selfishly quench the Spirit, and it will be gone as quickly as it came. If we miss what he has in store we will have only ourselves to blame. This week church family I urge you, I plead with you, to be in intentional prayer for our church. Praying that our hearts and our minds will be open and welcoming to what God has in store for us. There are many levels of heartache and pain taking place in the lives of our church family right now, so much so that it weighs very heavily upon my heart. But I am confident that if we press into the Spirit church, if we press in and lean upon God as his Spirit moves upon our church, we are going to see great healing take place right before our eyes. In the name of Jesus I declare it!
Lastly: As God moves upon our church, as we see the numbers grow, as we see more and more baptism, as we see the church build up, it is urgent that we as a church body lay ourselves down as a living sacrifice before the Lord. What the church needs, what I need, what we ALL need in this hour is a body of believers who will come together and will lay aside our thoughts, and lay aside our emotions and together trust whole heartedly in what God is doing at Mount Olive. God IS MOVING upon MOBC and it is up to us His servants to faithfully prepare the way.
