Leading people to follow Jesus in all of life.

What a Vision Sunday! 🙌

This weekend, all three Life Community Church parishes came together as one church, and together, we sponsored 142 children in Ecuador through Compassion International 🌎 !

We’re beginning a long-term partnership with this community in Ecuador, coming alongside the work already happening there and investing in its future for years to come. Through a partnership with Compassion International and illumiNations, that includes helping bring the Bible into the language of the people who call this community home.

And there’s still an opportunity to be part of it.

37 children in this community are still waiting to be sponsored. If you weren’t able to join us for Vision Sunday, or didn’t get a chance to sponsor a child, you’ll have another opportunity this coming Sunday at our parishes.

We’re grateful for what God is doing through the generosity of our church, and we’re excited that this is only the beginning.

Momentum & Vision Sunday are this weekend! This is one of our favorite weekends of the year—a chance for us to be equipped for our mission, celebrate what God has done, and look ahead together to where He is leading us next.

On Saturday, Brad Briscoe will join us for Momentum to help equip us to be everyday missionaries in everyday life.

On Sunday, we’ll gather for our largest Vision Sunday ever, including a special announcement about a new missional partnership with Compassion International that all of us can play a part in.

As we prepare to serve our cities next week, let’s remember that lasting change doesn’t come by might or by power, but by God’s Spirit (Zechariah 4:6).

Here are three simple ways you can pray:

1. Pray for Open Hearts
Ask God to prepare the hearts of every person we’ll meet—that they would experience His love, hope, and kindness through simple acts of service.

2. Pray for Our Volunteers
Pray that God would fill every volunteer with humility, joy, compassion, and courage. May we serve with the heart of Jesus, not for recognition, but because He first loved us.

3. Pray for Lasting Impact
Pray that Serve the City would be more than a week of projects. Ask God to strengthen churches, build new relationships, spark gospel conversations, and continue His work of making all things new.

“Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,” says the Lord Almighty. — Zechariah 4:6

How can we be praying with you this week? Let us know in the comments.

This past weekend a handful of men from Life Community had the opportunity to attend the Warrior Conference in the Adirondacks. They joined over 500 other men from around the Northeast to build community with each other, grow in their walk with Jesus and identify their next step in following Him. It was a powerful experience.
