We had a great night of fun, food and fellowship at the church picnic! 🍔 While the men worked hard at the grill and fryer to provide a delicious meal of hamburgers and French fries, Pastor Brandon opened up the stick horse rodeo🐴 in prayer. The kids had a great time participating and the question was asked - from one of the rough and tough cowboys - "will there be bull riding??"(Note to the Events Committee for next year's rodeo) If you were anywhere near the Corn Hole Competition you know the competitive side of people was revealed and math was not everyone's strong game. 😜 (names withheld to protect the innocent) As the evening came to a close, ice cream was enjoyed by all. If you have not tried Mary Waldo's homemade ice cream, you are missing out on a real treat! From the perfect texture to the deliciousness of the Heath Bar crunch and flavor, pure perfection! Thank you to all who participated in meetings, providing food, games and prizes, music, announcer talents to make the picnic a great time for all ages! We are delighted to share that Vicki King, daughter of Joanne Clawson and sister of Kathy Jowers, has officially joined our church family. Though she has visited over the years, she recently felt the Lord leading her to make QFCC her home church.
