Today on the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ, we dedicate our new Adoration Chapel in honor of Saint Joseph. Thank you to our generous donors and talented parishioners who helped in the creation of the chapel. The Most Reverend Bishop of Providence, Bruce Lewandowski is celebrating mass at Noon followed by a Eucharistic Procession to the Adoration Chapel. Please come celebrate with us, all are welcome!

Throwback Thursday! Msgr. Antonio Bove during the Eucharistic Procession on the Feast of Corpus Christi in 1928. -- This Sunday, St. Ann's Church will welcome the Most Reverend Bruce Lewandowski, Bishop of Providence, to a special Corpus Christi mass followed by a Eucharistic Procession ending with the dedication of our new Adoration Chapel. Please come celebrate with us and see our newly completed Chapel. All are welcome!

UPDATE: Thank you all for your prayers! Michele's surgery went very well. We wish her the best during her recovery.

We would like to wish our Bookkeeper Michele Perfetto good luck today during her surgery. While her title is "Bookkeeper" Michele does so much more for our Parish and her fellow parishioners than we can put into words. Please join us in sending all your prayers for a successful surgery and smooth recovery for her.

ON THIS DAY in 1877, Monsignor Antonio Bove, 1st pastor of St. Ann's, was born. Ordained at age 22, he travelled to Rhode Island to help shepherd the state’s rapidly growing Italian population. In 1901 he was given charge of the St. Ann’s mission in Providence’s North End. He supervised the construction of the present church starting in 1909 and established a parochial school in 1916. During his 3 decades at St. Ann’s he was a founder, innovator, builder, and missionary. He remained at the parish as pastor until his death at the age of 54 in 1931. He was buried next to his beloved St. Ann’s “to remain forever among those for whom he spent all his devotion, ability, and energy.”

Holy Day of Obligation: Feast of the Ascension. Join us for services on the Feast of the Lord's Ascension on Thursday the 14th at 8:00am in the Lower Church (English) and Noon in the Main Church (English), or Wednesday the 13th at 7:00pm (Spanish).
