Established in 1999, Bright Life Farms is a non-profit faith-based group home for intellectually and developmentally disabled individuals located in Caldwell County, Kentucky. is a faith-based non-profit group home for mentally or developmentally challenged adults, 18 years and older, who can do a lot of things, just should never live alone. While Bright Life is state licensed, it is not state su

pported, being a visible testimony to God’s power to provide and dedicated to giving Him the honor for these homes. As a faith-based facility, our goal is to provide care for the whole person – body and spirit – within an environment of love and safety, structure, training and enrichments with the goal of each individual living to the fullest. Our philosophy is that they have the right to develop independent living skills, become productive citizens, maintain an attitude of self-worth, attain their highest degrees of mental, spiritual, physical and vocational achievement, and most importantly, participate as members of a family.

When Bro. Anthony reached out to me about the gals and guys helping out Joseph's Storage Bin by putting clothes on hangers, No hesitation said YES. 45 totes later, first round done. They have really enjoyed lending a hand for Bro. Anthony. Not only the fun and fellowship between all they also touched on all Life Skills. We look forward to helping out again!

The guys and gals had a full fun day yesterday for Derby Day!

In the morning we all piled in the vans and visited Faith Apostolic for their monthly community breakfast...

Then we attempted a fishing derby that had some of our residents in serious competition until the rain got us all in the end...

But after after we grilled burgers and had our Sprite Juleps in the derby hats we decorated earlier in the week we finally held our Stick Horse Derby with the horses we'd made too!

Carly won the Fishing Derby with sheer determination and layered clothing!

Seth won the stick race with every ounce of energy he had!

Wade-O won our longshot prize bringing up the caboose!
