Wars and rumor of war. Earthquakes. Floods. Spiritual warfare. Persecution. The evidence is happening all around us, however we have grown dull to paying attention to what’s going on. Get ready. It’s going to happen. The King is coming! Not only is it important that we be ready, but we also have to prepare. Prepare for His return. Know what you believe and believe what you know. Be affirmed in it and don’t allow anything to knock you off pace. Matthew 24:44 states: "So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.” There is an urgency to focus on lost people. We are all sinners in need of Jesus to squeeze our hearts. We all need to be saved. Call unto Him. Jesus will change your life. Make sure that you’ve had an encounter with the One who is coming. He will only reach down and lift up those who have oil in their lamps. As stated in Matthew 7:23, “And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness.” You can’t work yourself into heaven or get into heaven under the glow of someone else’s light. You must ask Jesus to fill you with His spirit.

Are you ready? If He blows the trumpet today, will you be ready for His return? Have you done what you needed to do to secure eternity in the place that has been prepared for the saved? He died on the cross because He wants a relationship with YOU. Surrender to the Lordship of Christ. You don’t want to miss heaven.

Thank you for worshipping with us today. If you weren’t able to be present today, we missed you. Be sure to check out our online bulletin at www.fbcprinceton.com so that you don’t miss out on any of the upcoming events on the calendar. Abide groups are starting THIS upcoming Wednesday. We’ve been on the countdown to get these groups going again…and the time is finally here! If you’re not signed up, reach out to Brittney in the church office and she’ll get you plugged in. This is a great opportunity and you’ll be blessed by being apart of a small group. Bring your family Wednesday night for dinner and discipleship. See you soon! Invite someone to come with you.

Is He Lord? Is Jesus Lord of your life? Bro. Jordan led us through Matthew 26:20-25 this morning and challenged us to evaluate ourselves and to determine if Jesus is really Lord of our lives. Is He just a teacher or is He your Savior and Lord? You may look on the outside like you are serving and He is Lord of your life, but on the inside He isn’t. Religious activity is not surrender. You can serve Him without surrendering. When serving God, you need to persevere even in times of failure. Because of His grace, He continues to allow us to serve Him despite our failures. When you submit to Jesus, He will strengthen you for what He wants you to accomplish and He will see it through. He doesn’t call us to be perfect. He will pick you up when you fail. As we sang today in worship:

So I'll stand with arms high and heart abandoned
In awe of the One who gave it all
I'll stand, my soul, Lord to You surrendered
All I am is Yours

Continue to pray for Bro. Jerry while he is away serving with Bro. Harrell in Africa. Souls have been saved and seeds are being planted for His harvest.

Don’t forget about the 5th Sunday singing tonight at Northside Baptist Church. It’s starts at 5:30 and there will be a dessert fellowship following. Also, don’t forget about our midweek services on Wednesday. Abide groups will resume on September 9th. It’s not too late to get signed up. Reach out to Brittney in the church office and she will get you plugged into a group. This is a great opportunity for discipleship and you’ll be blessed.

Have you ever felt like you were in a pit? Today’s sermon started with Joseph who found himself in a literal pit and then we saw some wisdom from David in Psalm 40 on what we are to do when we find ourselves in a pit. We’ve all be there. Feelings of betrayal, the grinding stress of an illness, battling circumstances that you’re in the midst of, or just overwhelmed by feelings of hopelessness or loneliness? The good news is that our Heavenly Father turns His ears toward your cry and offers peace, guidance, and hope. Be cautious the direction of where your tears go. The only person who can bring you deliverance from the pit comes from the hand of God. As Psalm 118:8 states, “It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans." Shout out to the Lord and wait patiently on Him with purpose and intensity. And when people see your deliverance and hear your testimony, they, too, will trust in the Lord. He will put a new song in your mouth.

It was wonderful being able to worship with you today. If today was your first time visiting with us, please come back next week. We hope that you felt right at home with us. Be sure to check out our website at www.fbcprinceton.com to learn more about our beliefs, ministries, calendar events, and how you can get connected here at FBC Princeton.

It’s always a great day at church when we start the morning off with baptisms. Praise the Lord for moving in this place and stirring in the hearts of His people. Lives are forever being changed!

Today’s sermon was about finding ourselves in the gap between revelation and manifestation. As we continue our journey through Genesis, we can learn some lessons from Joseph’s life beginning with his first dream. God speaks to us and reveals His purpose, His ways, and His plans. God’s revelation is significant because of who REVEALS it, not who sees it. Manifestation is when the revelation becomes a reality. How we live in that gap is important. There will be people who don’t understand you. It can be a time of spiritual warfare; therefore, it’s a time to guard your heart with the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. Revelation is God making known what we couldn’t know on our own. There’s no deception or lies in it. Revelation must be held faithfully until its manifestation. God’s revelation ultimately points us to Christ who helps us live in that gap. How do we live between revelation and manifestation? We value it and hold onto the Word of God. Don’t abandon it. Wait for God’s timing. Keep your eyes on Jesus.

🍿POP-UP🍿Sunday was an exciting day at FBC! We celebrated it by recognizing those who are moving into new classes, praying over our families and friends, and by eating lunch together after the morning worship service. It was a sweet day!

This morning Bro. Jerry preached from the book of Joshua. Joshua told the Israelites to get rid of their idols. We should get rid of anything that gets in the way of the Lord. We need to fear the Lord, purify our hearts, and serve Him with faith and truth. We are called to continue to testify of the Lord’s deliverance in our life. As we celebrate milestones such as starting school, graduation, or living out our adult lives, we should continually dedicate ourselves to the Lord. Remember not only the things that the Lord will do, but also look back and remember all of the things that He has done. Worship a little deeper and recognize the Lord’s goodness and faithfulness in your life.

It was great to worship with you today. If you weren’t able to be in attendance, we’d love to see you this upcoming Wednesday night. Family meal starts at 5:15 and then classes for all ages will follow. Abide groups will be launching again in a few weeks. If you’re not signed up for an Abide group, reach out to the church office so that you can get plugged in. This is a wonderful discipleship opportunity. You will be encouraged…promise! It’s the perfect mid-week dose of encouragement, connection, and reminder that life is better with Jesus in it! Have a blessed week.
