A healthy church isn’t built by one pastor, one family, one committee, or a handful of people doing everything.

It’s built when God’s people follow Christ together.

We’re excited about where God is leading Creswell.

Not because we think we’ve arrived.

But because we believe God is still working.

And we want to follow Him wherever He leads.

We’re starting a sermon series called:

“What Does a Healthy Church Look Like?”

And no — a sermon series does NOT mean I’m preaching the same sermon every Sunday. 😂

Think of it like chapters in a book.

Each Sunday stands on its own, but together they help us see the bigger picture.

We’re going to look at what Scripture says a church should be, how we can grow together, and most importantly, how everything we do should point people to Jesus Christ.

Friday has arrived.

Some of us made it through the week by faith.

Some of us made it through by coffee.

And some of us are pretty sure it was both. 😂☕️

Whatever this week looked like, remember this:

God’s faithfulness didn’t change with your circumstances.

“The LORD’s mercies… are new every morning.” — Lamentations 3:22–23

Finish the week remembering Who carried you through it. ❤️

Ever been like: 'God, what's the tea?' 😂
Usually right after declaring: 'I've got this!' 🙄
Faith is all about trusting God even when His plan looks like a hot mess.
You might be stuck on page 3, but God's already read the last chapter. 📖

God still answers prayer... eventually 😂.
Sometimes He's like, 'Uh, yeah, got it!' 👍.
Sometimes He's all, 'Nah, not gonna happen, kiddo.' 🙅‍♂️.
And sometimes He's just, 'Hold up, not yet!' ⏰.
And we're over here like, 'Uh, I meant by yesterday, God!' 🤣.
Keep praying, folks! Keep trusting! God's still got His ears on! 👂

Tonight at Creswell Baptist Church, we looked at “The Battle Before the Battle” — Judges 7:1–8.

Gideon started with 32,000 men.

God brought him down to 300.

Not because God had abandoned him, but because God wanted Gideon to learn that His presence was greater than his resources.

Sometimes God removes what we're depending on so we'll learn to depend on Him.

Sometimes the army gets smaller so our faith can get bigger.

And sometimes God allows every human explanation for the victory to disappear until there's only one thing left to say:

God did it.

If you're facing something tonight that feels bigger than you, I hope you'll take a few minutes and watch this message.

Don't assume subtraction means abandonment.
Don't mistake weakness for defeat.
And don't judge God's plan by the size of your resources.

God is still faithful, even when we don't understand what He's doing.
