FIVE CHURCHES. ONE GOSPEL. A CALL TO REACH THE LOST.

We celebrate Pastor Amos Mutinda Kimatu, our fellow pastor in Latter House International Fellowship, and the evangelism training held in Utawala, Nairobi, Kenya, bringing together pastors, leaders, and evangelists from five churches.

This is fellowship becoming useful: leaders gathering to strengthen the work of taking the gospel beyond the walls of the church.

We thank God for Pastor Amos and everyone who participated. May what was taught become what is practiced—and may more lives encounter Jesus Christ through their faithful witness.

From Nairobi to every place God has planted us, Latter House International Fellowship celebrates the work of equipping leaders and reaching people.

COVERING SHOULD CULTIVATE RESPONSIBILITY, NOT DEPENDENCE.

Healthy fellowship does not create spectators around a personality. It helps leaders become accountable, equipped, connected, and strong enough to carry what God assigned to them.

COVERING IS NOT A PRODUCT.

RELATIONSHIP IS NOT A RETAINER.

RECOGNITION IS NOT A RECEIPT.

Money can support ministry. It can help carry real work, meet real needs, and honor responsible labor.

But money cannot purchase spiritual family.

It cannot buy access to a title.
It cannot guarantee recognition.
It cannot obligate somebody to endorse you.
It cannot turn control into covering.
It cannot create a promise of financial rescue.

When fellowship is healthy, expectations can be named before money changes hands. Questions are not punished. Boundaries are not treated as betrayal. Support is not used to manufacture dependence. Relationship does not disappear the moment a payment stops.

If somebody must keep paying to keep belonging, that is not covenant. That is captivity wearing church clothes.

LHIFe exists for genuine fellowship, covering, advisement, accountability, and ecclesial relationship. Those words must remain honest.

Before beginning a ministry relationship, ask plainly:

What is being offered?
What is being expected?
What is not being promised?
Can either person ask a hard question without fear of losing belonging?

Clarity does not weaken fellowship. It keeps spiritual language from being used to hide a transaction.

YOU CANNOT CALL IT COVERING WHEN IT IS REALLY CONTROL.

Spiritual vocabulary does not purify an insecure motive. A title does not make ambition holy. “I am protecting the work” can become a way to protect our position, silence a question, or keep people dependent on us.

Leaders must discern what threatens the people entrusted to them. But discernment begins inward. Am I responding to a real concern, or to the discomfort of being questioned? Am I strengthening this person's maturity, or making my approval the price of belonging?

Healthy fellowship has room for Scripture, accountability, responsible conversation, and correction. Covering that cannot be examined has stopped being covering.

Let the Lord search the counsels of our own hearts before we speak as though we know everyone else's. See 1 Corinthians 4:5 KJV.
