Triumphant Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ (TACJC) was established over seven years ago. We convened in a living room, then, a dance studio, then, 168 Cannon Street, and now, 70 S. Our mission is to promote and enhance a spiritual and moral presence in the community, positively impacting lives through the ministry of the Word, while catering to the natural and spiritual needs of those in the comm
unity. Through this medium, souls will be born into the Kingdom of God and experience growth and maturity fulfilling our purpose for this life and in preparation for the second coming of Jesus Christ. Over these 7+ years we have seen the hand of the Lord working in this ministry; people have been baptized, filled with the Holy Ghost, backsliders have returned to Christ, people have been enlightened to the Word of God, spiritual growth and positive influences have been observed in the church and in our community. We have had joys and sorrows along the way, but God has been our sustainer and our power. Through the help of the Almighty God the TACJC family currently has nine active departments: Men’s Department, Women’s Department, Youth Department, Sunday School Department, Media & Technical Departments, Music Department, Adult & Kids Choir, Kitchen & Fundraising Department & Outreach Department. Several appointments have been made to the offices of Deacons and Evangelists. We have heard testimonies and have seen evidences that God is working miracles among us. Countless lives have been transformed! God brought into this City for such a time as this, to win souls for His Kingdom. God has blessed with a Pastor after His own heart, an Assistant Pastor with a humble spirit and beautiful saints, who are laborers in the vineyard, with the mind of Christ! Our Pastor continues to preach and teach the word of God, in season and out of season. He leads God’s flock as he obtains directions from the Lord. He has also performed a number of weddings and baby dedications. We believe God has chosen us to do this great work in the city of Poughkeepsie and He will perform what He has begun in our lives. We are moving forward, soaring to new heights in God, showing forth the praises of God who has called into His marvelous light. We declare that Jesus saves to the utmost, and none that trust in Him shall be desolate! The Word of God, as contained in the Bible, is
