Due to the weather and storm conditions, my Wi-Fi is currently out, making it impossible for us to stream at our normal time. Therefore, Morning Glory Prayer is postponed this morning.

However, we will gather for Prayer & Devotion at 9:30 AM.

Today, we reflect and remember those who learned of their freedom on June 19, 1865, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued.

Today, we honor the resilience, strength, faith, and perseverance of those who endured unimaginable hardship yet continued to hope for a better tomorrow.

As we celebrate, let this day be more than a day off from work. Let it be a day of remembrance, reflection, gratitude, and education.

Let us honor the sacrifices of those who came before us and recommit ourselves to building a future marked by justice, unity, and opportunity for all.

Today, we celebrate not partial freedom, but the enduring legacy of freedom.
