Summer is traditionally a time to step out of routine and give ourselves permission to wander and daydream. What better season to let our minds “wonder” about our big questions of faith?

When we look at how Jesus graciously handled curiosity and doubt, we can affirm that “Not All Who ‘Wonder’ Are Lost!”

In May, CPC Members wrote down and submitted their “wonderings” about the Bible and Christian faith, and in worship from June through August, we ALL get to ponder these questions. Stay each Sunday for the post-worship Q and R (Question and Response) time with the preacher! ALL are welcome at CPC. This coming Sunday is Pentecost Sunday! Worship at 10 am - WEAR RED to celebrate!

Pastor Betsey will preach, "All Fired Up" based on Exodus 3:1-8 and Acts 2:1-21. After worship, join us for our "On Fire for Jesus" Chili Potluck. Bring a crockpot of chili, cornbread, a dessert, or a fruit to share, or just come to eat - you choose! All are welcome here.

Join us on Sunday, May 17 as we welcome guest preacher, Johnny Edmondson. Johnny Edmondson is the new Co-Director of Cyclical, the incubator for new churches and new expressions of church in our presbytery. He is also the founder and Executive Director of Growing Neighbors, a ministry that builds relationships and hope through urban farming and community development, whose vision is that "all local neighbors treat the whole community of creation more like family."
