Dear God, thank You for this new day and for being my provider in every season of my life. Your word in Matthew 6:33 says, “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” God, I don’t want to spend this day chasing money and the things of this world when the One I really need is You. There have been moments where I had nothing, but You always came through, and I’m trusting You to do the same thing today. Help me keep my eyes fixed on eternal things instead of temporary ones, and remind me that everything I need flows from seeking You first. I put my faith in You and not in the things of this world. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The young lions lack and suffer hunger; but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. -Psalm 34:10

Dear God, thank You for being so faithful in my life. Your word in Proverbs 18:15 says, “The heart of the prudent acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.” God, I pray for that kind of heart, one that’s always seeking to know You more and grow in every season. Change my character, renew my mind, and fix my thoughts on things above instead of the things of this earth. Teach me self-control so I’m not giving in to the flesh, help me not react in anger or jealousy, and give me a spirit that can say no to every temptation because my eyes are fixed on You. I trust You to lead me, develop me, and mold me into who You’ve called me to be. All the glory belongs to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed. -Proverbs 13:20

Dear God, thank You for this day and for a salvation that has nothing to do with how good I’ve been or how hard I’ve tried. Your word in Romans 10:9 says, “If you declare with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” God, I confess that Jesus is Lord and I believe it with everything in me. I’m done trying to earn what You’ve already freely given me through faith. Help me stop striving for a righteousness I could never produce on my own and just receive what You’ve already provided. Once I have it, let my life and my words point everyone around me straight back to You. Thank You for a grace I could never deserve but get to live in every single day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness. -Romans 4:5

Dear God, it’s me again, and I just want to say thank You. Everything that I am is because of You, and I’m so humbled by the love and protection that surrounds my life every single day. Your word in Romans 12:12 says, “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” God, I’m grateful even for the challenges and trials because they’ve given me a strength I never would have found on my own. You wake me up, You’re with me throughout my day, and You bring me back home safe every night, and I don’t ever want to take that for granted. May my life be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness to everyone around me. Thank You for hearing my prayer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! -Psalm 107:8

Dear God, thank You for this day and for being a God who is never absent, even when it feels that way. Your word in Mark 4:39 says, “Then He arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, ‘Peace be still.’ And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” God, I’m in the middle of a storm right now, and just like the disciples, I’ve let the waves make me forget what You already said. You don’t promise smooth sailing, but You do promise to get me where You said I’m going. Help me hold on to that today instead of panicking over everything I can’t control. I’m choosing to rest in You, because if You’re not worried, then I don’t have to be either. Thank You for speaking peace over every storm in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. -Matthew 5:9

Dear God, thank You for this new day and for all the things You do that I never even see. Thank You for watching over my family, for blessing my friends, and for being by my side no matter how many times I’ve fallen short. Your word in Nehemiah 9:17 says, “But You are a God ready to forgive, gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, and did not forsake them.” God, I submit my will, my heart, and my mind to You today. Give me a clear understanding of Your plan for my life and help me press forward without looking back. You are my strength and I need You, and with everything that I am, I just want to say thank You for everything. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

For in Him we live and move and have our being. -Acts 17:28

Dear God, thank You for this day and for being a God worth waiting on. Your word in Psalm 27:14 says, “Wait on the Lord. Be strong and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait on the Lord.” God, I’ll be honest, waiting is one of the hardest things You ask me to do. There are things I’ve been praying about and believing for, and some days it feels like nothing is moving. But I’m choosing today to stop trying to force things and trust that if it’s Your will, it will happen, and if it’s not, You have something better. Help me stay the course, keep my goals, and not make a single move out of impatience. Whatever You have for me, I trust that it’s on the way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved. -Psalm 62:5-6

Dear God, thank You for this day and for the story You’ve written in my life. Your word in 1 Peter 3:15 says, “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.” God, I don’t have to have every answer or be the most educated person in the room. I just have to share what You’ve done for me, how You brought me out of darkness, how You made a way when there wasn’t one, and how You’ve walked with me through every season. Help me never be ashamed of my story because no one can argue with what You’ve done in my life. It’s not my job to change hearts, that’s Yours. I just have to plant the seed. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what He has done for my soul. -Psalm 66:16

Dear God, thank You for another day and for speaking to me right when I needed it. I’ve been feeling a lot of pressure, but thank You for reminding me that the pressure I feel is connected to the purpose You’ve placed over my life. Your word in Psalm 73:25-26 says, “Whom have I in heaven but You? And earth has nothing I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” So even when I feel like quitting, I’ll choose to stand. Help my faith grow, bring peace over my mind, and give me patience to stay grounded. Remind me that my identity is in You, and that You’re developing something greater in me through this. I put my trust in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand. -Psalm 37:23-24

Dear God, thank You for this day and for being a God who carries us through things we never thought we’d survive. Your word in Psalm 121:5-8 says, “The Lord is your keeper. The Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.” God, I’m holding onto that promise today because there have been moments in my life where it couldn’t have been anything else but You. People may not know my story, but You were there for every chapter of it, and I’m still standing because You carried me through. Thank You for keeping me, protecting me, and never letting go of my hand. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

He reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drew me out of deep waters. -2 Samuel 22:17
