Just a friendly reminder that the Potter's House Ministries will be shut down for the holidays starting Monday Decemer 22 through January 2nd, 2026. We will be back in office starting January 5th.

We want to wish everyone a Merry and Blessed Christmas, Happy New Year and have an amazing Holiday with Family and friends.

Still want to give some holiday spirit this year? As the children's gifts arrive, some may require one or two additional items. You can help with that. Attached is our PayPal account. We can use your donation to go and get these extra items. We try and make sure all bags going out have the same amount in them.

If its after the holiday and you want to keep the spirit of giving going we are always doing different events and our food pantry is open all month long.

Want to Donate this Holiday Season? Adopt a Child for Christmas. Here at The Potter's House Ministries, we help families with Foster Kids and Kinship Care Children. We have Cards out in the Public and here at The Potter's House Ministries. The locations are Atomic in Wheelersburg, Wood Forest Bank in Walmart, and we have some cards here at The Potter's House Ministries. Please feel free to stop at any location and pick a child. If you would rather drop off money for someone to do the shopping for you, you can do so at all three locations. You can also drop off Toys at all three places, and they will be given to the child who matches the best.
Christmas is the time for giving and helping those in need.

CORRECTION/UPDATE: WE WILL BE DOING TAXES FOR FREE THIS YEAR.
We will begin our annual training for VITA tax services in December. We are still working on funding, but we are also still looking for volunteers. If you're interested in helping out, let us know by calling or messaging us. Thank YOU!
Yesterday was our all-time busiest pantry day ever. ALMOST 200 FAMILIES SERVED IN ONE DAY!
Praise God we have been blessed with amazing volunteers and donors who have made weeks like this possible.

Pastor Chad Garinger spoke with the Daily Times on Monday to discuss growing need for support at Potter’s House Ministries, Scioto County’s largest food bank, as the shutdown continues and SNAP is withheld.

Are you a veteran? Know a veteran? Monday from 11am-1pm we are honoring our veterans with a catered lunch, door prizes, giveaways, the fixings for a holiday meal, several local organizations will be giving out information that pertains to veterans. Call 740-776-4004 to register. Thank you for your service!

We are hosting our Annual Veteran's Day Event on November 10th from 11am to 1pm. Lunch will be provided. Please pre-register to help us make sure we have enough for everyone! Hope to see you veterans there.
