This is by no means the end of the ministry of Holy Communion, but instead is a strategic pivot. We have come to a point where we do not have the time or money to maintain the building and property. Therefore, the Management Team has made the strategic decision to list the property for sale and explore moving HCLC’s ministry to a different location. According to HCLC’s governing documents, the official power to actually sell the building remains with the members of the congregations. Once we have an offer(s) to present to voting members of the congregation, we will do so and you will vote to approve or reject any offer. We do not know exactly how long it will take to get the property listed, to receive an offer(s), or where our new ministry hub will be, but we will share information as things develop.
