We will be tested at every turn, but the purpose of the tests to refine us, to make us stronger and more resilient, pure and more capable of serving God. There's a beauty of character that can only be found by passing through hard times while depending on God.

Today is Good Friday, the day we remember Jesus' crucifixion. It's 9AM, which was the hour Jesus was nailed to the cross. The next six hours were agony mixed with estrangement from God the Father... it was the six hours Jesus carried our faults, our errors, our rebellion to the doors of death - so we don't have to.
