All Saints' Episcopal Church

All Saints' Episcopal Church Sunday Mornings:
11:15 a.m., Holy Eucharist, Rite II The Episcopal Church in Portsmouth, Ohio, since 1819. We believe God loves you – no exceptions.

We are an open, engaged, and inclusive community from which members are called to restore all people to unity with God and with each other in Christ. We pursue this calling as we pray, worship, proclaim the Gospel, and promote justice, peace, and love. We believe in a loving, liberating, and life-giving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in following the example and teachings of Jesus C

hrist, whose life, death, and resurrection saved the world. We are members of the Episcopal Diocese of Southern Ohio, and as constituent members of the Anglican Communion, we are descendants of the Church of England and the Scottish Episcopal Church. Considering our membership in the worldwide Anglican Communion, we are part of the third largest group of Christians in the world. We have a legacy of inclusion, aspiring to tell and exemplify God’s love for every human being; women and men serve as bishops, priests, and deacons in our church. Laypeople and clergy cooperate as leaders at all levels of our church. Leadership is a gift from God and can be expressed by all people in our church, regardless of sexual identity or orientation.

Tonight! 🀩 You're invited to "Evening Prayer at the Park" at Earl Thomas Conley park (west side) at 7:00PM on Mon. June 8! 🏞️

Just bring youself, a camping chair (there are picnic tables you can use, too), and water.

πŸš— Look for the little red car to find the pavilion!
πŸ’§ I'll have some cold bottles of water if you forget yours
🦟 I'll have bug spray for those pesky insects that like to nibble

Enjoy the Park! πŸ”†
After Evening Prayer, you are welcome to spend time chatting, snacking, talking a walk, using the playground, or playing a yard game like bocce ball. There is a little something for everyone! We hope you can join us for this new experiment.

What is Evening Prayer? πŸ’
Evening Prayer is a brief service in the Book of Common Prayer that can be led by lay leaders. The service will feature special collects, readings, and maybe a song or two. Everything you need will be printed on paper.

Sunday at All Saints' Episcopal Church of Portsmouth was a beautiful sunny day and a perfect setting for celebrating our faith. Both young and older filled the seats as we joined in song and prayer. As always, it was heart-touching to see parents setting examples for their children before, during and after church, especially as they joined hands and knelt in reverence at the altar.

Sunday at All Saints' Episcopal Church of Portsmouth was a day filled with sunlight and love. Both young and older people attended to celebrate their faith. As always, it is a blessing to see parents interact with their children before, during and after Church, especially as parents teach their children the importance of kneeling at the altar and showing reverence.

"God loves you. No exceptions." πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ

Those were words repeated countless times at Saturday's Portsmouth Pride event at Tracy Square. Folks picked up free stickers, bracelets, and carabiners that had the same message printed on them. Plus, we gave out so many bottles of cold water for anyone who was thirsty.

Special shout-out to Tom Yeager for making this outreach event possible and making sure All Saints' was represented and supporting the event.

Bonus! 🀩 The Trillium Project, an artist collective that uses the second floor offices for admin/studio space, brought their River Giant puppets!
