Today we pause to remember.

This Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free. It is paid for with courage, love, and a willingness to lay everything down for others.

As a church, we are grateful. We remember the families who carry that sacrifice every day. We pray for comfort, strength, and peace over them.

Jesus said, “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13

Today, we reflect on that kind of love and we give thanks.

We want to let everyone know that our Friday Bake Off has been postponed.

We were really looking forward to this sweet time together, and we know many of you were too. We appreciate your understanding as we make this adjustment.

Stay tuned for a new date soon. It’s going to be worth the wait.

Today we celebrate and honor our Pastor, Pastor Dean!

Pastor, you truly are the leader of the pack here at High Praises Church of God. Week after week, you lead with strength, faith, and a heart that goes after the one. You don’t just preach the Word, you live it, and we are so thankful for the way you guide, protect, and love this church family.

Thank you for every prayer you’ve prayed, every message you’ve poured into, and every moment you’ve stood strong for us. Your leadership points us closer to Jesus, and your heart reflects the Good Shepherd.

Today, we honor you and celebrate you. We love you, we appreciate you, and we thank God for you!

We’re thankful to share that Pastor Dean is doing great! His knee replacement surgery went very well, and he is now in recovery.

We ask that you continue to keep him in your prayers — believing for a smooth, quick, and complete recovery.

Thank you all so much for the love, support, and prayers you’ve already shown. It truly means a lot to him and the entire family.

We’ll keep you updated as he continues to heal 🙏

Join us this morning at 11 AM for a powerful Easter service as we celebrate the resurrection together. Bring your family and come expect something special.

Then come back tonight at 6 PM for our Easter celebration and egg hunt. It’s going to be a fun night for the whole family and a great way to connect with the community.
