High Praises Church At HPC we Build, Worship, and Send. Come and see what God is doing in Scioto county! On Sunday and Wednesday we have music and a dynamic sermon.

Welcome to High Praises Church serving Portsmouth and New Boston where we gather to worship God, grow into family, and make lifelong friends. We're happy to offer groups for youth, kids, seniors, and adults each week. Our kids sing and dance and are taught an exciting lesson in their services and classes. We host youth events with food, music, and fun. HPC has featured Nerf Wars, Open Gym, Archery

Back to School Bash was a BLAST!

What an incredible day at High Praises Church! We had a gigantic foam slip and slide, plenty of pizza, gave away tons of school supplies, and had an awesome time with our students and families.

But the greatest part of the entire day was seeing people give their hearts to the Lord! ❤️ That is what it’s all about.

A huge thank you to every volunteer who gave their time, helped prepare, served our families, handed out supplies, and made this day possible. We couldn’t have done it without you!

To every family who joined us for Back to School Bash, we want you to know that HPC is here for you. If you can get to church, we would love to have you and your family worship with us.

As our students and teachers head back to school, we are praying over each one of you. We pray for a hedge of protection around you, for wisdom, strength, favor, and a great school year ahead.

The year is just beginning, but keep the finish line in sight. Start strong, stay strong, and finish strong!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out for work day at HPC this past weekend. We had a wonderful group of volunteers jump in and get so much done, from work on the stairs, new ceiling panels, cleaning around the church, and even building a small retaining wall to help redirect water away from problem areas.

We are thankful for every hand that helped. It is a blessing to see people serving together and taking care of the house of God.

HPC Work Day

Saturday, August 8th starting at 10 AM

We need all hands on deck as we work together on church beautification and a few projects around the property.

If you have carpentry, electrical, contractor, or handyman skills, we could use your help. We also need plenty of people who can help clean, move items, organize, and take care of general work around the church.

There will be a job for everybody.

Please wear closed toe shoes, bring work gloves if you have them, and come ready to help. Let’s work together and take care of God’s house.
