There is an interpretation of Exodus that teaches that Moses not only put the tablets of the law that he received on Mount Sinai into the Ark of the Covenant, but also was commanded by God to add the broken pieces of the first tablets that he broke in anger after seeing the Israelites worshipping a golden calf. The broken and the whole were together in the same ark. Likewise, the broken and the whole are together in the embrace of a loving God. The image of God is upon all of us. If we want to be successful in God’s eyes, we must show the image of a serving, humble God.

Faith is not about a church doctrine or power or privilege. It is about service to others-service to the point of sacrifice. It can be expressed equally through individual actions and experiences as it can be in churchwide attitudes, actions and public declarations. Each and every day we will have the opportunity to show how Christ’s love can bring healing to our hurting world. The only way we can do this clearly is with the greatest humility-just as Jesus did when he washed his disciples' feet, serving others, and dying on the cross.

I just want to remind you that this building is a place where people meet to worship the church is who were sitting inside the building today! There is still much work to do! Your journey isn't over it's just begun as we all need is show Jesus to everyone outside these walls. There is a lot of people out there that need to be shown love through Jesus in us. I am gonna leave you with this scripture
John 13:35

[35] Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”

Just Love that's what the world needs!

Such a blessing.

1 Corinthians 10:31 KJV
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

What does it mean to glorify God? It means to bring HIM honor through what we say, how we act, and how we think, how we treat others. To glorify God means to acknowledge HIS glory and to value it above all things. To glorify God means we make it known to others. To glorify God means we have a heartfelt gratitude. We glorify God through our faith. We glorify God through our love. We glorify God through our desire to obey Him. We glorify God through our desire to know Him.

Isaiah 43:7 says, “Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.” So there you have it, our purpose here on earth is to glorify God.

To glorify God is to set God highest in our thoughts, and, to have a venerable esteem of him. “But thou, Lord, art most high for evermore.” (Psalm 92:8)

Glorifying God consists in worship. “Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.” (Psalm 29:2)

John 1:1-5 (NKJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Jesus and His Word are one. God’s Word is eternal. It will always do what it says it will do. If Jesus does not return for another 2000 years, His Word will continue to move on this earth, just like it did when it was first written. The Bible is the number one best-selling book of all times, and they say there are over six billion copies in our world today. Amazing! God’s Word is still working, and Jesus and His Word are one.

Jesus is not a god; Jesus is God. He is 100% God, just like God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. He was in the beginning with God. Everything that is on this earth was made by His spoken Word. And now this same Jesus resides within us. We need to really think of this love of God. God loves us so much that He gave us Himself. He is the One who was from the very beginning, making the universe, the animals, and Adam and Eve. The Word from the beginning is our God, dwelling in us and living for us.

So today, see the big God. Do not see God as the world tries to show us God. See the One that put Himself in His Word, and within our being. Get to know Him like you have never known Him before. See what happens in your life. I will tell you, you will never be the same!
