Yesterday we began 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙅𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙝 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙭 with 𝗥𝗨𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗬.

And we discovered something surprising:

𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗵 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗚𝗼𝗱.
𝗛𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗜𝗗.

He knew God was merciful. He knew God was compassionate. And he knew there was a very real possibility that if Nineveh repented… 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺.

So here’s the question we’re carrying with us this week:

𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗜𝗦 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗛?

Who is difficult for you to imagine receiving the same mercy from God that you’ve received?

But don’t stop wrestling with the question.

𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗔 𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗬!

We began our brand-new series, 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗝𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗛 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗢𝗫, with Part 1: 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘆.

Most people think Jonah is about a fish.

But the fish only gets a few verses.

Jonah is really about a prophet who loved God, served God, heard God's voice…and struggled with one of the hardest truths in Scripture:

𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱.

Who is your Nineveh?

Who have you written off?
Who have you stopped praying for?
Who would surprise you if God saved them?
Who would bother you if God showed them mercy?

𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝗱'𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝘀 𝗛𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘂𝘀.

𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝘀 𝗛𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺.

And God didn't just speak to us Sunday—𝗛𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝘁 𝘂𝘀.

We had an incredible time of altar ministry at the end of the message. People responded to God, and 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲!

Jonah went the opposite direction.

But here’s the strange part:

𝐉𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐡 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐆𝐨𝐝.
𝐇𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐈𝐃.

That changes the story.

This Sunday:

You probably know the story.

🔥 Tonight’s the night!!

𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐘 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆.

The first night of 𝐒𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐃 𝐑𝐎𝐂𝐊: 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 was incredible.

We watched a room full of people 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝐝𝐢𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧, 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰. And best of all—𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬! 🙌

There was an excitement in the room, and tonight we’re building on it.
