What a powerful and unforgettable day at Rock Island Missionary Baptist Church on yesterday as we celebrated both Baccalaureate Sunday and Pentecost Sunday! 🎓🔥

We congratulate all of our graduates and thank God for allowing us to honor this major milestone in their lives. We are proud of each of you and excited about what God has ahead for your future.

Yesterday’s message, “AFTER THIS…”, reminded us that what we have gone through was not meant to destroy us, but to prepare us. After the struggle, after the waiting, after the tears, and after the process… God still has purpose, power, and promise waiting on the other side.

The Lord showed up in a mighty way, and we thank God for every worshipper, every graduate, every family member, and every visitor who shared in this special service with us.

Today’s message reminded us that every bite in life is not meant to destroy us. Some bites reveal purpose, some reveal promise, and some reveal people. From Acts 28:1–8, we learned that Paul survived the storm only to be bitten on the shore, but the bite could not stop the assignment God had on his life.

One of the powerful truths from today was this: The attack may have touched you, but by God’s grace it did not destroy you. The enemy tried, but God preserved you because the promise was already on your life.

You are still here!

And on this Mother’s Day, we honored the strength of mothers who kept loving while bleeding, kept praying while hurting, and kept showing up and worshiping, even after being wounded.

🌸 The Rock Island Mothers enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day Brunch this morning filled with fellowship, laughter, delicious food, beautiful fashion, and unforgettable moments together! 💜✨

From the elegant hats and “BeYOUtiful” attire to the love shared throughout the room, it was truly a celebration honoring the strength, grace, and faith of the amazing mothers of Rock Island.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our Rock Island Deaconess Ministry for hosting such an awesome and well-organized event. Your hard work, hospitality, and spirit of excellence made this day special for all who attended.
