Happy Father’s Day!

Due to flooding in some areas of our city, we encourage everyone to use wisdom and caution when traveling. We WILL have in-person worship today at 11:00 AM, and our service will also be streamed online.

Whether you’re worshiping in the sanctuary or from home, let’s lift up the Savior together. He is worthy, and we’re grateful He allowed us to see another day!

Grace gives us what we don't deserve, while mercy holds back what we do deserve.

When we truly receive God's mercy and grace, guilt lifts and shame disappears. The moment we accept this truth, our hearts are washed clean and our mouths open again in praise.

SUNDAY’S SERMON RECAP

What a powerful day of worship at Rock Island Missionary Baptist Church!

In Week 2 of our Summer in the Psalms series, we journeyed through Psalm 51 and were reminded that even after failure, God’s mercy still reaches us.

“Lord, Have Mercy”

David’s story teaches us that:
✔️ After the fall, there was Mercy
✔️ After the fall, there was Grace
✔️ After the fall, there was Forgiveness
✔️ After the fall, there was Restoration
✔️ After the fall, there was Purpose
✔️ After the fall, there was Jesus

No matter how far you’ve fallen, God’s grace reaches farther. No matter what you’ve done, God’s mercy is greater. No matter where you’ve been, Jesus still saves, restores, and renews.
