It is gratifying to see the good work and ministry of Fr Lito J Capeding , Deacon John Archer and all those at the Catholic Maritime Club of Mobile (AOS-USA) and the Archdiocese of Mobile. Sometimes we cannot change circumstances but that is not our primary mission. Our primary mission is to bring the Sacramental and Pastoral care of the Church to the People of the Sea. We certainly work and advocate for change and for justice, but we are thankful when we see people like Fr Lito and Deacon John knowing that walking with the Seafarers in their hour of need, bringing Christ to them and reminding them that God IS with them and has not forgotten them, is the gift that we always stand ready to bring to them!
