Friday June 5 Schmooze with the Jews 7:30 PM
Want to gather on Shabbat and shmooze with the Jews? Well here's your chance! The 1st Friday of every month, in lieu of services, we will come together, sing folk music (so bring instruments if you play), learn new music for services, hear Jewish folktales, nosh (eat snacks), and just BE. We have a new kids corner so bring the whole family every week (for shmooze and Shabbat services).
Saturday June 6
Havdalah 5:30 PM
Please join us on the 1st SATURDAY evening of each month at 5:30 for a special family friendly Shabbat program followed by a short Havdalah service (the special musical service in which we bid farewell to Shabbat). It is traditional to add an extra ‘meal’ on Shabbat(called ‘Se’udah shlish*t- lit. a third meal) in order to stretch out the day as long as possible. Our program will begin with snacks, related crafts/art, music and Jewish folktales followed by the havdalah service. The program will take about an hour/hour and 15. All are welcome! If you are able to contribute snacks it would be appreciated! We hope to see you there!
Zoom Hebrew Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-8 PM.
