My favorite name for Jesus Christ is my Friend. When our Savior came to earth, he suffered and felt everything we could ever feel. There is truly NOTHING I could feel or go through that Jesus Christ wouldn't know. I never have to feel alone in my sadness, or anger, or frustration, or pain. My Friend always wants to comfort and help me. Recently I have been struggling with a lot of feelings of inadequacy. Something that many people feel! However, as I have been focuson on growing my relationship with my Friend through praying, reading the scriptures, attending church, and trying to follow His perfect example, my confidence grows and those negative feelings from the adversary fade away. I know that Jesus Christ came to earth to suffer unimaginable things. Because of Him, we can overcome sin and ALWAYS be forgiven. Because of Him, we can all overcome Spiritual Death. Because of Him, we can all return to our Loving Father in Heaven who is awaiting us with open arms. I am so grateful for my Friend and for the joy and peace that has joined my life when I started building a relationship with Him. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen!

There have been many times in my life were I have felt alone and lost. That no one could ever understand me. But I came to know that through prayer I could receive guidance and comfort. Praying was never easy for me, but I came to rely upon it so much. Through my prayers I have come to know who my Savior is to me. He knows me in a way that no one else possibly could. He gives me comfort in the ways that I need it most. I have a testimony of prayer. Of how powerful it is. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are always there to answer. Answers don't always come in the ways that I want, but they do come. I know that Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father know us each perfectly and love us infinitely. With them there is always a shoulder to lean on and an ear to hear our troubles. Prayer is real and it works. As we strive to always reach out to them through prayer, I can promise that we will see them reaching back out to us. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
