Are you against sin—but still take pleasure in sin?
Romans 1:32 reminds us that it’s not only about the sin we commit, but also what we approve of, celebrate, entertain, and take pleasure in.
We may say we’re against sin, but what are we allowing to entertain us? The movies and TV shows we watch, the books we read, the music we listen to, and the social media reels and videos we continually consume can cause us to find entertainment in the very things we say we’re against.
It’s worth asking ourselves: Would I participate in this myself? Would I approve of it in my own life? If not, why am I comfortable being entertained by watching someone else do it?
“…not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” — Romans 1:32
Let’s guard not only what we do, but also what we allow ourselves to enjoy, support, laugh at, celebrate, and be entertained by.
Choose holiness—even when the world celebrates otherwise. 🙏🔥
