👟 It’s the second weekend of the Prince of Peace Shoe Ministry Drive! 👟

There’s still time to help us reach our goal of $12,000 and provide shoes for children and families in need through our partner communities at St. Mary of Carmel, Good Shepherd, and Santa Clara. A gift of just $30 provides a new pair of shoes, or you can donate new or gently used shoes during this weekend’s collection. Every donation helps put new steps on the path toward education, dignity, and opportunity.

What a beautiful celebration of faith and culture! Last weekend, the Taclobanon Association of North Texas gathered at Prince of Peace to celebrate the Feast of Santo Niño, a beloved Filipino devotion honoring the Child Jesus. The celebration brought together families and friends for prayer, worship, and fellowship while sharing the rich traditions of the Filipino Catholic community. Thank you to everyone who helped make this joyful event a wonderful witness to the universal Church.

The Lord is good! ☀️

After watching the weather closely all morning, God blessed us with sunshine just in time for our Corpus Christi procession. As Mass concluded, the sun broke through the clouds, allowing us to take our Eucharistic Procession outdoors and publicly witness to our faith in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.

A heartfelt thank you to our Knights of Columbus, Music Ministry, and Liturgical Committee for their dedication and hard work in making this beautiful celebration possible. Thank you also to everyone who joined us in honoring our Lord on this special feast day. Blessed be Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar! 🙏✨
