Hello Church Family.

Tomorrow morning we will be looking at the Discipline of Bible study. Our Scripture focus will be 2 Timothy 3:14-17. I encourage you to read and study the Scripture.

Two weeks ago we discussed the Discipline of Worship. Remember, preparation for worship begins on Saturday night!

Equip Training will be on Tuesday, August 25th, at Fitzpatrick Baptist Church in Prestonsburg. Check-in begins at 5pm, dinner at 5:30pm, and the opening session begins at 6:30pm. Equip will cover training in: Children and Youth Ministries, Deacons, Worship and Music, Evangelism, Finance, Discipleship, Women’s Ministry, Sunday School, Revitalization, and Missions. Please contact Marsha this week if you would like to be registered to attend this training.

Another wonderful day in the Lord’s house. Great to see everyone today. Another wonderful crowd!

Thank you to Brother Jamie for sharing his heart with us. You, Samantha, and the kids will be missed. Praise the Lord for what He’s going to do in your ministry!

Just an update. We have 3 more messages in our “Discipline” series, BIBLE STUDY, WITNESS, and MINISTRY. This will take us through August. We will move on from the series beginning in September.

We heard the sweetest voice answer her Dad’s (Youth Pastor Josh) questions as our precious Ella was baptized this morning! What a blessing to see a child make a decision to follow Jesus!

Praise the Lord, what a great crowd in church this morning!

What a blessing to see so many visitors, for Brother Mike and Sister Brooke joining our family, and for sweet Ella’s baptism.

I appreciate all of you so much. It is a joy to worship The Lord with all of you.

Please remember the needs for our food pantry (mac n cheese, ramen noodles, canned spaghetti and meatball, beefaroni, and ravioli). Thank you so much for how you give.

I’m taking a risk here, as next Sunday, if The Lord tarries, we will look at the Discipline of the Tongue. Please come be with us. I promise you, if you’re not there, you are missed.
