*Daily Devotional/Bible Study:

I have always heard that it is better to give than to receive. This devotional explains that from a biblical standpoint.

*Daily Devotional/Bible Verses:

Life has a way of loading our shoulders with worries, disappointments, fears, and responsibilities that were never meant for us to carry alone. Often we try to hold everything together by our own strength, only to find ourselves exhausted and overwhelmed.

God never asked us to be strong enough for every burden. He asked us to bring those burdens to Him. When we surrender our worries, we are not giving up—we are placing them into the hands of the One who is able to carry them. The same God who holds the stars in place cares deeply about every concern in your heart.

Today, whatever is weighing on you, don’t carry it another step alone. Give it to God in prayer. Trust Him with what you cannot control, and rest in the truth that He is already working on your behalf.

Prayer:
Father, I give You every burden I have been carrying. Take my worries, fears, and anxieties, and replace them with Your peace. Help me trust You with the things I cannot change and rest in Your faithful care. Thank You for loving me and carrying what I was never meant to bear alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

*Daily Devotional/Bible Verse:

Giving thanks to the Lord shifts our gaze from life’s struggles to God’s enduring character. More than a feeling, gratitude is a spiritual discipline that replaces anxiety with peace. It reminds us of God’s daily grace and anchors our faith in every season.
Why We Should Give ThanksGod’s steadfast love: The Bible reminds us in Psalm 107:1 to give thanks because the Lord is good and His love endures forever. Gratitude celebrates His faithfulness
The ultimate gift: We have the greatest gift of all in Jesus Christ, whose sacrifice offers us grace and eternal life. 2 Corinthians 9:15 calls this "His indescribable gift.
Inward transformation: Gratitude rearranges our troubled hearts. When we thank Him, we replace complaints with joy, choosing to trust His plans rather than focusing on our own worries.
Lord, thank You for Your endless grace, Your steadfast love, and the many blessings You pour out on my life—even the ones I often overlook. Help me to cultivate a heart of gratitude in every circumstance, trusting that You are good and You are working all things together for my good. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Daily Devotional/Bible Verse/Song:

I Know a Name

Song by Brandon Lake, Chris Brown, and Elevation Worship ‧ 2026

I know a name that can silence the roaring waves
I know a name that can empty out a grave
I know a name, it's the only name that saves
And it's worthy of all praise
I call You, Jesus
I call You, I call You Healer
Risen and reigning in power
Something comes out of the grave
Every time I call You, Jesus
I call You, I call You Savior
Worthy of glory forever
Something comes out of the grave
Every time I call Your name
I have a King with dominion over death
He holds the keys in His holy nail-scarred hands
He is the heel, yeah-yeah
That has crushed the serpent's head
Our resurrected Great I Am, come on
I call You, Jesus
I call You, I call You Healer
Risen and reigning in power
Something comes out of the grave
Every time I call You, Jesus
I call You, I call You Savior
Worthy of glory forever
Something comes out of the grave
Every time I call Your name
Chains break, dry bones wake
Every time I call Your name
The gates of Hell shake
Every time I call Your name
Chains break, dry bones wake
Every time I call Your name
The gates of Hell shake
Every time I call Your name
Oh-oh-oh
Every time I call Your name
Yeah, yeah-yeah
Mmm
Where, oh death, is now your sting?
And where, oh grave, your victory?
Come on now
Where, oh death, is now your sting?
And where, oh grave, your victory?
Yeah, where, oh death, is now your sting?
And where, oh grave, your victory?
Yeah
Dead things come alive
Dead things come alive
Dead things come alive in the name of Jesus
Dead things come alive (dead things)
Dead things come alive
Dead things come alive in the name of Jesus
Dead things come alive
Dead things come alive (dead things come alive)
Dead things come alive
Dead things come alive in the name of Jesus
Dead things come alive
Dead things come alive
Dead things come alive in the name
I call You, Jesus
I call You, I call You Healer
Risen and reigning in power
Something comes out of the grave (every time)
Every time I call You, Jesus
I call You, I call You Savior
Worthy of glory forever
Something comes out of the grave (oh, every time)
Every time I call Your name
Chains break, dry bones wake
Every time I call Your name
The gates of Hell shake
Every time I call Your name (dead things)
Dead things come alive, yeah
Dead things come alive, oh
Dead things come alive in the name of Jesus (yeah)
Dead things come alive
Dead things come alive
Dead things come alive in the name of Jesus
Yeah, yeah
So much power in the name of Jesus
So much power in the name of Jesus
Found my healing in the name of Jesus
I was healed in the name of Jesus
Found my freedom in the name, Jesus
Found my breakthrough in the name, Jesus (come on, sing)
And I call You, Jesus
I call You, I call You Healer
Risen and reigning in power
Something comes out of the grave (of the grave)
Every time I call You, Jesus
I call You, I call You Savior
Worthy of glory forever
Something comes out of the grave
Every time I call Your name
Oh, yeah

*Daily Devotional/Bible Verse:

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your cares on him, because he cares about you. Be sober-minded, be alert. Your adversary the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone he can devour. Resist him, firm in the faith, knowing that the same kind of sufferings are being experienced by your fellow believers throughout the world. The God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, establish, strengthen, and support you after you have suffered a little while. To him be dominion forever. Amen.”

*Daily Bible Verse/Devotional:

“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it" (Psalm 118:24).

This profound declaration is a daily invitation to trade anxiety for gratitude, rooted in the knowledge that God is the author of time, your circumstances, and the ultimate victory of redemption
The context of Psalm 118 is a song of thanksgiving, historically sung during festivals of deliverance and later directly tied to the coming of Jesus Christ.

In the verses preceding our famous phrase, the psalmist declares, "The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone" (Psalm 118:22).

For believers, every single day is a day the Lord has made because it exists in the light of Christ's resurrection. Because of what Jesus accomplished, yesterday's failures are forgiven, and today is washed in fresh grace. The ultimate "Day that the Lord made" is the day of salvation—the day Christ conquered death so that we could be reconciled to God.

Notice the second half of the verse: "Let us rejoice and be glad in it". Rejoicing is not a feeling we wait for; it is an active, intentional choice. It is a decision to celebrate God's presence, even when your circumstances are difficult, confusing, or overwhelming

If you are struggling to find joy in your day today, try these simple steps:
-Breathe deeply: Acknowledge that the breath in your lungs is a gift from the Creator.
-Focus on the present: Avoid the trap of multitasking or worrying about tomorrow. Be fully engaged in the task right in front of you.
-Choose one word: Pick a word like peace, hope, or grace, and call upon it throughout the day as a reminder that God has not forgotten you and that He Loves u more than anything .
