God doesn’t respond to the Fall with rejection.
He responds with a question.
“Where are you?”

These are the first words God speaks after Adam and Eve hide.

Not because He doesn’t know where they are.
But because He wants them to come out of hiding.

Session 3 reminded us that sin ruptures communion—with God, with others, within ourselves, and with creation.
Yet from the very beginning, God begins His work of redemption.
He comes looking for His children.

Coming next: Session 4 — The Repair & The Road.
How does Christ heal the human heart? How does true freedom become possible?

Session 2 Takeaway:
The deepest longing of every human heart is communion. We discover who we are by learning whose image we bear—and by becoming a sincere gift of ourselves in love.

Coming next: Session 3 — The Rupture & The Reminder.

What happened to humanity after the Fall? How did sin distort God’s original plan? And why does God immediately begin reminding us of His promise of redemption?

In Sessions 2 & 3 of Igniting Hearts, participants discovered what it means to be created in the image and likeness of God and reflected on humanity's rupture through sin and God's enduring plan of redemption.

The evening culminated before our Eucharistic Lord in Adoration and the Sacrament of Reconciliation, where many encountered Christ's mercy in a profound way. Thank you to Fr. Steve Lacroix, C.S.C., Fr. Anthony Dang, Fr. John Nahrgang, Fr. Chris Gossen, and Deacon Ramsey for helping make this evening such a gift.

Please continue praying for our participants as they journey through the remaining sessions.

Theology of the Body begins with one question: What does it mean to be human?

It begins with the deepest questions every human person asks:

• Where do I come from?
• Why am I here?
• Do I matter?
• What does it mean to be human?

Session 1 reminded us that before we can understand God’s plan for love, we must first rediscover God’s vision of the human person.

The journey continues.
