Hello, my name is Rosemary Gaona and it is my pleasure to serve as President of the Diocesan School Board for the Diocese of Phoenix. Catholic education provides a Christ-centered curriculum and environment for our children. At our board meeting tonight our main focus was to develop ways to support our Catholic schools through board liaisons, available resources and organizations to assist them in successfully meeting the school goals for this year. We welcome all of the students, parents, educators, administrators and local school boards to a new and exciting school year. God’s blessings for you all. Please enjoy the attached welcome video that has been created by Harry Plummer, Rosemary Gaona and Rev. Kevin Grimditch.

Congratulations to the Xavier amazing girls 🙏❤️

Xavier’s Honor Choir took top honors at the WorldStrides Heritage Festival last week. Winning all three awards for which they were eligible, the choir, under the direction of Brittanie Hockins and accompanied by Naoko Garrison, earned 1st Place Gold in the women’s choir division, earned the Adjudicator’s
Award for a total score above 95 out of 100, and won the overall 1st Place Gold Award that included all 31 competing choirs.

This year there were over 1,250 singers from Utah, California, Arizona, and Washington. This was the first time in Xavier’s 15+ years of attending this festival that the choir has swept the festival awards. A job well done!!🐊😀🎼
