The Passion of the Christ wasn't cute or cuddly. It was graphic, brutal, and offensive in its depiction of unimaginable suffering—the crown of thorns, the beard ripped out, the spike to the tree. The Romans mastered pain, and Christ endured it all for us.

It's infuriating to see those who have abused their position and flaunted immorality now exposed. Pastors are held to a stricter judgment. We are called to love, care for, and lead the flock by example, not to abuse them. Servant leadership is key.

In John 5:18, Jesus referred to God as His own unique Father using the word 'idios.' This claim of a personal relationship was seen as blasphemy by the Jews, who understood He was equating Himself with God. He could have used a general term, but chose a specific one, revealing His divine nature.
