Good morning. Due to the persistent snow and ice piled up along the roads in our church neighborhood which severely limits parking, the Session has decided to cancel in-person worship service and meet on Zoom at 11:00AM. The decision was motivated by 1) the desire not to upset our neighbors by taking parking spaces which they dug out, 2) the understanding that our brethren can get frustrated if they have to drive around for a long time looking for parking and 3) the general safety of those who might have to navigate around piles of ice and snow as they walk. If you can join us for our Sunday Morning Worship service on Zoom, please, reach out to Pastor John O if you have not already received the link.

Also, Elder Emeritus Robert Carr has offered to lead Sunday School via Zoom at 10:00 AM, We are starting a discussion on "The Hard Questions That People Ask" about our faith in Jesus. If you would like to join, please, reach out to brother Robert and request the Zoom link.

Again, we apologize for having to meet virtually, but praise God that he has afforded us the means to still meet and worship together with one heart and mind even if we can't come together as a physical body! God willing, "see" many of you on Sunday! God bless you with his comfort and peace.

URGENT WEATHER UPDATE

Due to the good amount of snow that we have received and to the forecast that snow will continue to come down until at least 11AM, the Session has decided the following:

1. Sunday School is CANCELED,
2. The Sunday Worship has been POSTPONED until 12:00 PM
3. The Christmas Community Outreach has been POSTPONED until a later day, due to the additional risk of falls while visiting the homes in our community.
4. Please, be on the lookout for any further update.

So, please, take note:

1. Come to church by 12PM having eaten brunch or an early lunch so that you are not overcome by hunger during worship service.
2. Parking may be difficult to find. So, give yourself a little extra time to get to church.
3. The sidewalks may be slippery. So, give yourself more time to walk and be extra careful when climbing up and down stairs (use the handrails).
4. If you are unsure of your ability to come to church safely, please, consider worshipping with us VIRTUALLY via livestream on Facebook or YouTube. Use this link: https://www.nccphilly.org/watch1 to watch and download the bulletin for today.
5. All Tech Team and Music Team members should try to get to church by 11:15AM to set up and prepare.

If you have any questions, please, reach out to your shepherding Elder or to Pastor John O.

God willing, see you later.

Happy Veterans' Day! To all those who have served or are serving, thank you for your service! To all the families and loved ones who have supported their Service Member and have born the burden of service with them, thank you for your service! May God our Father bless all those who have surrendered many "freedoms" so that we may, in this nation, live free. Your sacrifice is remembered and you are thanked. Today, we give God thanks for you!
