Join us this Sunday as Pastor Tom Valletto will be preaching a sermon titled 'No More Stones and Snakes' from Matthew 7:7-14. We will be taking a portion of our service this morning to recognize our Father's on this Fathers Day.

Prayer Meeting/Bible Study is on Thursday, and next Sunday we will have a special Patriotic Choir Presentation 'I Salute You'.

A whole bunch of activities are rapidly approaching, including a movie day on Saturday, the VBS Dedication Service and Church Picnic (July 12), VBS (July 13-17) and Soccer Club at CGCA (July 18). Be sure to check out these activities and others on our church website!

Upcoming Church Events

Movie Day June 27th: We will be having a movie day! ‘I Can Only Imagine’ will be shown in our downstairs fellowship hall with fresh hot popcorn, snacks, and drinks. Vacation Bible School Activities

July 12: Prior to the start of Vacation Bible School, during our morning service at 10:30am we will have a dedication service for our VBS staff, children, and program. We would love for you to come out as we pray over every aspect of the week! After the service, you are all invited to our church picnic at Alverthorpe Park in Elkins Park, PA (3 miles from the church) until 7pm. We will have a softball game (bring your glove!) and other activities throughout the day as we enjoy nature and fellowship with one another! Please note that the picnic is bring your own food, and some park activities (Mini-golf, Chip & Putt) has an additional cost.

July 13-17: Our VBS program this year is High Seas Expedition for children ages 4 years old, up to completed 6th grade. Set sail on an exciting in-person adventure that’s perfect for kids ready to explore and have fun. Dive into thrilling activities, make new friends, and experience the excitement of the High Seas Expedition right at Lawndale Baptist Church. Don’t miss out on this amazing journey filled with laughter, learning, and plenty of surprises. Get ready for a week of unforgettable memories! Soccer Club

On July 18, children Ages 5-12 are invited from 10am-12pm to Cedar Grove Christian Academy for a Soccer Club sponsored by Child Evangelism Fellowship of Philadelphia County. This event will incorporate soccer drills & skills training, fun games & competitions, an exciting Bible lesson from God’s Word, and snacks to fuel all the fun!
