All Nations Baptist Church - Philadelphia, PA

We’re looking forward to Sunday. The Lord blessed us with 19 visitors last month, and we anticipate He’ll do even more in October.

We’re an old-fashioned, Bible-believing Bible-preaching, Bible-teaching Independent Baptist church.

Our service times are as follow:

Sunday school: 1:15 p.m.

Sunday afternoon: 2:15 p.m

Sunday evening: 7:15 p.m.

Thursday evening: 7:00 p.m.

The Gregory family was out soul-winning yesterday.

Our pastor and his wife met Dominique while out doing church-wide soul-winning today.

She repented toward God and placed her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Church used to be where everyone joined the choir. Now it’s a praise team. People used to feel free to testify about the good things of God. Now that’s not in our plans. People used to be faithful to every service; now they only come Sunday morning.

People packed the altar to pray and cry out to God; now it is empty. Preachers used to read, study, and pray for the message. Many today search the internet and learn how to deliver someone else’s message.

Church music was part of worship. Now it is so loud it has become the focal point. Churches used to pray for God to send a pastor. Now it is a beauty contest: we know him and he would fit in nicely, caring little whether he meets biblical qualifications. The Holy Ghost used to lead the services. Now emotions lead the church.

Let us seek the old paths and walk in them again. Churches need to be Christ-centered and follow the leadership of the Holy Ghost.

Home missions is just as important as foreign missions. If we are not exercised about reaching our own country, how can we be exercised about reaching someone else’s country?

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
